Telephone renewal of policy covering our three cars. Carried out efficiently by the lady in the office. I do have a problem hearing on the phone so she needed to be patient with me. My only comment with the renewal is that you can not do this on line if you have more than two cars. Each year I always wonder why?

I have been with Auto National for must be 20yrs or so. I've never had any problems over that time when I've had to use them and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for breakdown cover.

1st class customer service. My renewal was dealt with by Sarah who was very helpful and made me aware in clear terms, delivered very professionally, exactly what l was paying and what was covered. Luckily l have not had to use the breakdown service, but knowing l have the cover l need is very reassuring.

The breakdown service is excellent but renewing is very weird. The email reminder suggests "By far the easiest way to renew your policy is viawww.autonational.co.uk quick and easy at any time of day" but if you try that they don't knock off the no claims discount so it was about £18 more! When I rang the lady was very abrupt - almost rude - in trying to explain that you only got the cheaper price you are entitled to if you renew by phone. The letter mentions nothing about that! The staff should be aware that this is an illogical system and not sigh and then say "OK, for the third time I will explain the system to you again" which is the way it came across. A shame as the actual breakdown service (used once in about 5 years) is ace.

I have been a customer of Auto National for many years, I have always found the people I’ve spoken to polite and very helpful. They were particularly brilliant when my car broke down while I was 7 months pregnant, the lady I was dealing with kept me updated the whole time and I was dealt with as a priority. I have recommended Auto National to many of my friends and colleagues.

Staff fine but the system you have of constantly ringing the putting me on hold was a big nuisance. You even continued to do it after I had spoken to you. Not good practice, it shows no respect. for your customers
