On 19 August 2025 I submitted a claim on the app. I then waited a day, 2 days, 3 days and no response. After 5 days I CALLED in and they had no idea about the claim at A&G. I spoke to a super rude lady who then got the manager involved and 3 days later after I CALLED in again they said the app was in limbo but they found the claim and will process it. Another week passed by and I CALLED in again (3 weeks already and not a single reach out from A&G) to say that the car is overheating, they arranged for the vehicle to be collected and towed to an autobody repairer for assessment. After 2 weeks NO CALL or UPDATES I CALLED in AGAIN. To be told the parts would be arriving 30 October and they claim no damage to my radiator (which is not true as there was coolant at the accident) Since 19 August 2025, I have rented a vehicle for 2 months, called in about 20 times and paid 3 months insurance. A&G needs to refund all these costs and pay out for the vehicle as a write off. Market value is resale vs purchase, 2007 Mazda MX-5 sells for R225k and gets bought for around R150K so average market value is around R185k, 3 months insurance and 2 months car rental not to mention 20 calls from my end, A&G should be paying out roughly R200k They have stolen my vehicle as it stands because no repair and no payout and AGAIN NO COMMUNICATION whatso ever. Their holding company IDRD and LAURA are also a bunch a liars, she said normal turn around is 5-15 working days, today marks 12 working days (with a promise of putting my 2 month old case on the top of the pile and I would get a response in 5 working days) STILL NO CALL from A&G or any updates. Their app is useless and nobody reads messages. Their call center staff are untrained and useless. Email is a joke and never goes through. I already layed a complained on hello peter AND FB and STILL have not received a single call to apologise or sort the matter out. ABSOLUTE JOKE ! Do not deal with these criminals and liars, the false claim the A&G is a big company and underwrites insurance is just a sales marketing strategy. I will not be a client and NEVER recommend them to anyone !

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Employees are clearly paid to reject and draw out legitimate claims aggressively to prevent suffering customers from receiving deserved payments. Anyone working here should be ashamed. Avoid at all costs.

Agreement is the premium is on the 15th every month, for the past two months they went to my bank account on the 14th and take money reserved for something else, who does that? Who gets paid on the 14th? I'm having arrears now from other companies, this is such an inconvenience! Just because I have money in my account it's not for them to go in and out of my account as they please

As a long standing client with a very low claims history I have found Autogen to be the worst one could expect and advise others to steer clear. A claim initially refused and subsequently agreed to has still not been paid. A R12k claim on a R6k per month policy premium is small but the principle is clear. Autogen will do whatever they can to avoid payment knowing we are all busy and don’t have time to waste on continually following up until their 90 day time limit expires, then you have no recourse. Subsequent investigation reveals I am paying 100% over market for our cover. Get an old school broker and STAY WELL AWAY FROM AUTOGEN AND ANY TELESURE COMPANY

As you loyal customer I am very dissappinted with you regarding facilitating fixing my car I call daily complaining about your useless service provider Renewit. How can they fix a car for 3 months this is very unexceptable and disappointing I am beyond disgusted with the service.....JL96LMGP Audi Q2 steptronic

This is the worst insurance company. I won't recommend this insurance to anyone else. The consultants are good when it comes to sell products and when you need them they are nowere to be found. I was asked to provide the proof of how i tried to requested a call back from them and their app doesn't even give that history. I wonder how i was asked such a question when you know your app doesn't have that option. Now this turns to be a client problem when it comes to claim, but noone can ever show you that report. All you get told is someone will contact you ,but you will have to use your money to call them. Finally after getting hold of them they take long to respond if you are claiming and you will be luck if you will get the payout. I wouldn't recommend anyone to thos insurance.

I was involved in a car accident and my tire and rim where damaged now they say they culd not cover my tire and rim bcoz the car was in an accident .im cancelling this insurance

I was sent the wrong item and they tried to rectify their mistake over the internet and still couldn't solve the problem.
