“I am replacing my original review along with my sincerest of apologies. The reason I had not received my order was not Backdoorshoes fault, it was royal mail, they had apparently tried to deliver my order when I wasn't in, unfortunately they neglected to leave me a card telling me so that I could arrange redelivery. Following my very negative review Backdoorshoes contacted me and informed me that the shoes had been returned to them, so they resent my order, which I have received and I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED, thank you so much for contacting me and again I apologise for my previous review.”

Dear Karen, I have looked into this for you and it was never collected from your sorting post office as there was no reply upon initial delivery. The Post Office hold it for a certain length of time and then send it back to us. We were unaware that you had not received the parcel until you have just placed this review. Did you not contact us at the office to find out where it was? I can't find an email correspondence. “I'm delighted with my purchase of Backdoorshoes and wondering why I didn't buy a pair earlier, it certainly would have saved all the aggravation of wet slippers and socks! They're practical, well made and the designs are fab, so it's a 5 from me!”

“Good service, good clear web page. Shoes were as described but we have had them before. Unfortunately they got left by a sunny patio window and they shrank in the heat! Be warned!”

“I love my Backdoor shoes, I am on my second pair and wear them outside all the time in all weathers ( with the addition of a thick pair of sock if necessary). I wear them for all sorts of work and it is so easy to slip them on or off just outside the door. In fact I love mine so much I have given a pair to each of my daughters as presents and have just ordered a pair for my husband.”

“Shoes are great, comfortable , quirky, practical and last for years. Ordered several pairs as presents and needed to change a size on one pair. After sending them back I got a call from customer services just checking the replacement. Unusual to receive such a good personal service nowadays. Would recommend without hesitation”
