“Waterproof, easy to put on, recyclable and you can wash the insoles. Great all round shoe for popping on to go into the garden, or put the bins out. I have the bluebells which are bright and fun. I also bought the large leaf design for my mum which is very autumnal in colour. All in all, a good purchase.”

“The flip flops are extremely comfortable and seem very strong and long-lasting. I put them on as soon as they arrived and kept them on for the rest of the day! They are ideal for the home and garden all summer long. The shaping on the insole is supportive and so much more comfortable than a completely flat shoe. The bronze colouring has a couple of slight marks on it which spoils the appearance slightly which is why I've given 4 Stars instead of 5 Stars.”

“I have been using backdoor shoes for a number of years, just love them. I have a pair for inside and one pair for outside use. Very comfortable with lovely vibrant colours. Quick delivery even when using the free delivery option. I have them, my husband has them and now all of our family are wearing them. Only negative is that they are expensive compared to other brands but I keep coming back to Back Door Shoes every year.”

“Even though the shoes were too small, they exchanged them no problem, would recommend they advised customers to buy at least two sizes over their normal shoes size for men.”

“They're ok but the sizing is completely out.. Had to send the first lot back (having already gone one size up as recommended) and ended up needing 2.5 sizes up. Don't know why they can't just use the correct sizes, it's not even about being able to slip them on and off easily as they explain it, my husband couldn't even get his feet in the first pair with thin socks on, and the larger pair are only just big enough. Also don't much appreciate the sexism with the men's shoes available with tough thicker soles and women's only available in regular - you think me and my delicate little lady feet don't know how to dig??”

“Super comfy, but I’d size up. I’m a UK 7 and the size 40 only just fits (Although they’re pretty roomy, but not as comfy without the insole). Love their shape, colour (navy) and their light weight. Perfect for pottering around the garden/putting the bins out! I may even wear them for a paddle on the beach!”

“Great shoes! I really like the pattern and the fact that they’re waterproof! they haven’t got those little holes round the sides that crocks have. my only disappointment is that the soles are not very robust and the tread will disappear very quickly. meaning they could be slippery in the garden. Allison”

“The website suggests you size up for wide feet and high arches. As my husband has long thin feet we discussed and didn't feel it was necessary to order a larger size. As a result the beautiful backdoor shoes are a little snug and could have done with being a size larger.”

“Prompt service as usual. However your delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. They dumped the parcel on the ground outside my gate, didn’t bother to buzz the gate to see if I was home or leave a card to say they had left it. Anyone could have taken it!”

“Very pleased with these shoes, they are great for popping out in the garden. I ordered Two pairs but sent them back as they are a small fir. I then reordered and they arrived promptly. However, I haven’t yet been refunded for the original order and I wish there had been a returns form and label in the parcel to make it easier. I also dislike the fact that the shoes arrive in a plastic bag.”
