“I bought men's shoes, thinking they would be wider than women's. They aren't, and were too narrow for me. Stephen was very helpful and I was able to exchange them for a different pair, which are much more comfortable.”

“Really really lovely, good-looking and well-made shoes. I love mine. Packaging was excellent and still in use to keep shoes in when not being worn. Everyone should have at least one pair. I cannot fault the product of the service. Excellent all round.”

“I have just recently bought a pair of backdoor shoes again after my other pair were getting really old. To be honest shoes were still ok underneath , only the top pattern had worn away and that was after 6 years. They are brilliantly strong and some lovely patterns and easy to clean. Tip; put some warm insoles in even better.”

“I’ve just bought my second pair of back door shoes. The first pair lasted for well over 10 years, the only reason I renewed them was the tread had worn flat on the soles. They are brilliant shoes!”

“I bought a pair of shoes in the sale but although the same size as previously bought, these were too large. I explained and the problem was immediately resolved by a pair of insoles which arrived by post in a couple of days. Really pleased with the shoes, the insoles and the excellent after sales service by friendly helpful staff. Just a pity I won’t need to buy more shoes for a while as they last for a long time even with the rough treatment they are given.”
