“I first bought a pair of these shoes at the Cardiff royal horticultural event some years ago. They are very light and surprisingly hardwearing. Even though I have bought a new pair for me and the wife - we are still wearing the original ones (until they give up). A good pair of shoes for the garden!”

“The web site is easy to use. The products are great lightweight clogs, ideal for slipping on before stepping outside. Being able to purchase spare insoles is useful. I have bought these products as gifts too!”

“Am pleased with my boots, I have a high instep and can sometimes find it hard to get boots on, but the elastic gusset makes it easy and the rubber is nice and soft. We are in a bit of a heat wave at the moment so haven't fully road tested them but am confident they will do the job, if all good will be back for another pair.”

“I stumbled across blackdoor shoes at a trade show many years ago and have been a regular customer ever since. Most of my family and friends are now the proud owners of a pair. I love all the different designs and the shoes are super comfy (even if you suffer from plantar fasciitis). Delivery is fast and customer service excellent.”

“This is my second pair of shoes as the last pair ( tulips) are well worn and past their sell by date. This size 5 is slightly bigger than the last. The ability to buy insoles at a very reasonable price is a bonus. The shoes are always at my backdoor and very easy to slip on before exiting. Easy to clean and robust. No heitation in recommending highly.”

“The Backdoorshoes arrived very quickly. I ordered the “meadow” design with black soles. They are very lightweight and comfortable but not quite as soft and flexible as my last pair of the “rose” design ones with white soles.”
