I'm so glad I found this site. Not only has it provided me with some great advice, but it has made me realize I'm not alone in this, and has motivated me to take the best possible care of my finances. With the help of this site, I'm making a complete recovery from my past mistakes, and will never be in this situation again!

Went through all my finances Made the decision as to best handle my situation Met with financial advisor a couple of times for very helpful counseling My questions to date have all been answered Only half way through the program, but things are looking up

Your staff are professional. You have great interpersonal skills. You use technology but don't de-humanize the engagement with clients. I hope we can continue to do business with our new firm.

I was matched up with a very good Bankruptcy Trustee who helped me a great deal. Not only did she make the whole process very painless but I learned a great deal during our counselling sessions as well. I went in thinking that I don't really need any counselling because I got into trouble through several unexpected job losses and long breaks in between jobs. I didn't think it was anything I did wrong. I still feel that way but by keeping a really detailed Budget once I saw where all my money was going I was able to make a few rather simple changes that improved my situation a great deal. Even now, several months removed from my Bankruptcy, I'm still tracking all of my expenses the way and it is still helping.

The service provided it was suggested that I do a consumers proposal rather than an bankruptcy . The officials explained everything in detail and made it easy to understand. We had two counselling sessions that went well the official was always pleasant and easy to understand. It was explained what the payments would be and the payment when it would be taken out of my bank account. and when the final payment would be taken. The proposal was sent out to the creditors a few adjustments had to be made and then the creditors accepted the proposal and the payments have been made promptly ever since. At the end of every month the payment is taken out of my account and then dispersed to the creditors. I am thankful for all the help and support I received from Bankruptcy Canada.

I gave a list of all my creditors. My trustee walked me through the process of filing my business taxes and personal tax and gave me stragites to stay out of debt

I think I summed it up in the above sentence. But to add a few more comments I was shown respect, offered support and counselling. The situation was wage loss due to health but I learned so much more and I now have tools to survive in any walk of my life.

When I went I was very stressed. From the moment I sent the email I received timely and useful information. In a no judgemental environment I was given clear options and was supported in my decision. I was provided enough time without pressure to make my decision as well. I have been able to carry on in my financial goals and have been supported in every issue. I recommend this service to others. My bankruptcy trustee employees help me from the day one to understand what the bankruptcy is, how to go through the process and what to do to better manage my finances. All my questions were answered in professional manner and they were always there for me when I needed more help to better understand what is going on.

The service was very professional. I was in need of financial guidance and support .The fact that I was willing to put in the effort and go through the steps , learn and adopt the lessons in day to day life helped. I appreciate the opportunity for a second chance, and will use it wisely.
