They closed suddenly without notice while there's balance of 8000 dollars ! Now they don't allow trading or more than that, asking me to open a new account !! What about my money !!! I am currently working with '' wikihelpdesks (at) gmail (dot) com '' for assistance to help me get my fund back from them.

Barnes and Noble is not helpful for publishing books if you need a signed document to prove copyright ownership over your books. They will not provide it to you even if Amazon is insisting on it. It has the ebook option but no bonus for authors to gain from. Once you publish on their platform, you have to find ways to market yourself if you don't want to use their services. They do not have book advertising options. Amazon is better if you want to be paid royalties for readers who read your books. Nook books don't have this option from what I can see. There is also no expanded distribution of your books, so everything stays within their website. You have to work with another publisher for global distribution. Copyright is a problem when it comes to producing puzzle books that quote a lot of scripture. Amazon also has its issues and both of these I honestly don't like.

I preordered a book and they charged my bank account in March. I was supposed to get it September 19 and they canceled my order. They said the payment method did not allow them to charge for the book. What? The bank account was already charged and now the signed edition of the book is out of stock. They said I have to call my bank and ask for the refund. So, not only do I not get my book, I have to call my bank and get the refund myself. Now I have to wait for the bank to send me a dispute form. Terrible customer service.

They have books at a great price. Not only do they have books, but they have games and toys. Their employees are willing to help you find the area that the books you want are in. Every time I go, I find new releases and some books that look like they would interest me. If you sign up for one of their things, you can get a free cookie or cupcake around your birthday.

I love Barnes and Noble, because I love bookstores, and I feel like Barnes and Noble is the last store standing against Amazon, now that Borders is gone. I actuallyl think of B&N as an indie bookstore. I feel they do have a love of books, I always go to their coffee shop which looks like Starbucks but isn't, and I like what they've done with expanding their comic book and manga offerings.

Used books are way cheaper than on other sites. The books are in great condition when you receive them. The description of the book on the site is accurate. Decent shipping time as well.
