“Wonderful place to have a relaxing stay. All the facilities of the Inn were fantastic - bar, restaurant, outside lawns and patio, rooms and even a camping area at the rear of the property. The staff were very welcoming and gave very good service in the bar and restaurant, where we enjoyed our dinner. The bedrooms are very well appointed and have very tasteful decor. The family owned and run Inn is in a small, delightful village and definitely worth a visit. It was a pity we only had one night there.”

Beautifully appointed bedroom, superb breakfast with excellent choice and made with good quality produce. Good walk book available from the hotel door. Good evening meal and all in, for a good price. “Stayed at The Baron at Bucknell, with my mother as a birthday treat for her. The whole place was spotless. The room was luxurious. The ensuite was spacious and, again, spotlessly clean. The food was first class, both dinner and breakfast. I would definitely recommend and will stay again without hesitation.”

“We stayed for a 2 night short break in Room 5. Fabulous room - very comfortable, clean and modern. The bathroom was great - my husband loved the jacuzzi bath! The staff were all really friendly. Phil and Debra were great hosts and very welcoming. Debra does a grand job in the kitchen - all the meals we had were really good and her poached eggs at breakfast are just perfect!
