“Took a policy out and they would not let me cancel the policy without a charge within the 14 days cooling off period.
There was an error in the policy which is that I rent my house instead of owning it. I wanted it amended. They could not amend it because of a system error. I asked to cancel the policy within the 14 days. I was told I would have to pay £30 if I did that. They said if I took out a new policy, which I had to, it cost me £30 extra plus a fee for the first 7 days of the old policy. It should have been amended with no fees on the first policy and no further charge. It is also discrimination as I rent the property and it costs more because I rent. They were no help at all and I now have to go to The Ombudsman to try to get some justice. Dreadful customer service. Zero stars if I could give”
