Have happily used Boilers 4 Essex for several years for servicing. Got recent text / email from them advising my Boiler is due for service so have responded to both asking for an appointment but my replies have been ignored. So have rung them twice and have spoken to different people who "are not in the office at the moment so please text details and the will get back to me" ......well, surprise, surprise, nothing. Fine, if they don't want my business any more I don't have a problem with that but stop wasting my time sending me messages touting for work, and even worse be honest with me on the phone rather than asking for information they have no intention of responding too. Really disappointed - they used to be so good.” Hi John, Our reminder system makes sure our customers boilers stay up to date and in good condition. When customers come back to us we book them on a first come first serve basis. As this is the only fair way. We advised you that the soonest appointments would be in November and that you was on our list to confirm a date and time in early November. I’m afraid it’s still October John! Your many phone calls and emails do not change the fact we have no availability until November. Disappointing really that instead of putting your hands up and saying “sorry, everyone’s human, we just got it wrong this time” which might actually have generated a bit of goodwill, you instead choose to try and spin a tale which purports to paint me as some pushy individual trying to jump the queue. Unfortunately, your spin does not, as you well know, quite tally with the facts. On September 19th I received both an email and a text saying my service was due, and to please get in touch with my preferred dates. I responded to both saying I would like the service to be done so can we please arrange an appointment. I heard nothing further. So… On October 10th I rang, spoke to a lady called Rachel who said she was in the car, could I please text my details and she would get back to me with an hour. Nothing…. October 16th , rang again – can’t take you call, please leave details and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Nothing……. October 18th, rang again, spoke to someone who bookings were now into November, but was not in the office so could I text details and they will get back to me. Texted details (again!) saying I was happy with most dates in November. Have I heard back – well surprise surprise, no. You subsequently emailed to me saying my review was unfair and should be taken down. Having re read it I don’t think there is anything in it that is not truthful or distorts the facts. Yes, as you somewhat sarcastically say, it only October, well not sure what that has to do with not responding to messages / texts / email or being able to make a future booking in November, December, January or whenever one is available.

Clare we fixed your system and left it working. The fact that your tenant was hoarding in rooms and not giving us access to the full system made it a very difficult. We even attended free of charge again to bleed a radiator once the system could be accessed. We then attended a further time when your tenant reported an issue, they didn't even answer the door and you didn't answer your phone when we couldn't get in. Again an issue was reported we booked you in to come back yet again. This time you cancelled on the day we was meant to come because the system was working! You have an old system that needs work and a tenant that clearly doesn't know how to use it. Each time you have contacted us we have been polite and have offered to attended. Each time we have left we have left a working system. What more can we do? The fact that your heating system is old and needs work doing to it is not our fault. All the faults were highlighted during the first visit. A good landlord would put a new modern combi system in that is easier for the tenant to use and more efficient. Instead of blaming an honest company only carrying out the work you have requested. You yourself admitted the system has not been touched for 30 years. How long do think a heating last with out any maintenance? We have been given the run around by you and your tenant and your review is not justified at all. IF ANY OF OUR CUSTOMERS EVER HAVE A PROBLEM WE ALWAYS RETURN.
