“The beans are fantastic and are a premium product, price point is premium too which is a little prohibitive. Especially the cost of delivery direct is prohibiting though. Have found an alternative source, to have some varieties delivered by riverford. Love the beans, keep up the good work, be cautious on the price point to try and achieve the masses.”

Sending glass jars is a bit of a high-stakes game. They're heavy and delicate, so we've got to pull out all the stops with some nifty packaging solutions. Our packing materials are all recyclable or compostable, proudly made in the UK. Unfortunately, this extra TLC in packaging adds up and reflects in the cost. Additionally as a small business, we feel the weight – literally – when it comes to shipping these jars. The heaviness of the packages drives the cost up significantly.We strive to balance quality with accessibility, and your input is invaluable as we look for ways to keep making Bold Beans available to as many people as possible.

“Since I discovered Bold Beans it is the first time I have regularly eaten beans and chickpeas, even got my husband to eat them too. The butter beans are definitely my favourite and normally get eaten straight out of the jar.
However, since the range is no longer available in the small jars, I have pretty much stopped buying them as I was throwing too much away.”
