Phil provided excellent help desk support when one of our contact sensors wouldn't pair with the hub. He was quick to respond, provided clear instructions, and sent us a replacement sensor the same day. All sorted in no time!

After some time evaluating the pros and cons of various different home security systems, I decided on Boundary as it seemed to be the most contemporary, easy to setup, and provides several options for service plans. The buying process is assisted and customising the package of what you need is simple. Installation is really straightforward and the app is simple and easy to use. I am not one for reading instructions and didn't need to when setting up, although had I done so I might have found where the QR code is on the sensors instead of laboriously typing in long codes of digits as I had to for the first few sensors I setup. I had a couple of nuances to deal with when setting up, and was staggered by the almost instant response from the support team with not only the answer to my issue but a couple of helpful pictures that showed exactly how to solve the problem. Alarm has been up and running for weeks now, everyone in the house finds it easy to use and it's doing a fantastic job. Very pleased with

I bought and installed the system myself so not hard to do. Customer service is really good as they can always help you out and they get back to you as quickly as they can. I have had one or two wee problems but Phil soon sorted these out. I would recommend boundary to anyone looking for a well priced alarm system. You custom make it to suit your property. Well done boundary

My boundary alarm system has been awesome so far. I had a few issues during setup but these were all quickly resolved through prompt responses from the support team and the in-depth support documentation. I've found the app features to be really helpful in reassuring me that my house is secure.

I followed Boundary from its beginning through kickstarter and bought a system fairly soon after launch. I opted for the self-install (non-monitored service) which is straightforward, though needed to borrow a ladder to fit the outside siren! There have been a few initial teething problems but the Boundary staff are super quick to respond and resolve everything – in fact I’ve had responses to support emails within minutes and on weekends. I hope this level of service stays as the company grows – as I’ve been an early adopter for other systems (e.g. tado) where this has tailed off dramatically as they have grown. The actual alarm system and app are miles better than my previous alarm and most others I was looking at - that cost considerably more. Being able to control it via an app is useful and there are other useful features like monitoring movement (or lack of) in rooms during periods of time! If I had one negative, it would be the requirement to plug in the control unit to a mains socket. This requirement is limiting to where it can be located and a bit untidy having a trailing cable to a socket - thought that can be made to look reasonable with a bit of effort! It would be good if there was an option for a mains hard-wired unit. Overall for the money though, this is hard to beat and I would certainly recommend.

Regarding the point on the wire, this is something we are looking into but in the meantime, with a little DIY skill the PSU cable can be extended. The socket is a USB-C style plug so you can pick up extensions for the cable and then take it through a stud wall to a hidden plug. I was part of the kickstarter group prior to release of the product. We purchased the full kit including the Siren. the product looks very premium and the Siren stands out in our street. The setup was very easy. The batteries in the PIR's and Door Sensors last a long time (over 6 months). The Siren battery has lasted well over a year. The mobile app is brilliant as it allows you to remotely set and unset the system, get alerts when someone enters or disarms the alarm. You can also add users/family members too so they can manage the platform. I have set up some simple IFTTT routines for when movement is detected and the system is armed. I have also contacted the helpdesk on a few occasions with questions and initially a couple of anomalies and they have been very quick to respond.

Absolutely 5 star customer service from this company. Quick response to any requests for help. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. My hub was bought 2nd hand from ebay and had an issue with the nfc so i could not register any fobs, after troubleshooting the hub was replaced FOC with no issue, and my trial was extended without me even asking. You can't ask for better service than that many thanks.

Now we are up and running It is a fantastic alarm. The contact sensors can be a little bit tricky to get right but once mounted in the right place I have no issues. The alarm has since stopped freezing so I'm assuming the issue was related to the faulty contact sensor which they have replaced and also replaced the faulty siren their resolved my issues swiftly and communicated effectively via Facebook messenger. It isn't my ideal choice of communication. I believe it would have been simpler over the phone, but nevertheless they've resolved all of my issues and my alarm is working perfectly now. It is simple to arm and disarm the alarm via the app. When on the app it tells you if your sensors are secure and the average temperature of the room. I like the key features of the partial arm, activity alerts, geolocation if you forget to set the alarm it will remind you and pet friendly zones so you're fury friend does not activate your alarm. After resolving the numerous issues I have had, I cannot fault the company. They've gone above and beyond with trying to resolve everything and done so effectively. I would really recommend this to anyone.

I have a Boundary alarm which has been reliable and user friendly. I have recently needed to contact the Boundary helpdesk over a minor matter. I must say that their speedy, polite and accurate help showed their commitment to 1st class service and support which I haven't experienced elsewhere for a long time. Excellent product with matching customer support.
