“10/10 Best wood stove in the market. We did a lot of research before purchasing our Drolet wood stove. We looked at all of the different types and styles and found that for the price, this was the best one. It's not exactly like the European style we were originally looking for, but it's close enough and much more affordable. Plus, with this stove, we can see the fire burning which makes it so much more enjoyable. At approx. 850 sq. ft. and it's all open with a loft, a wood stove is our most efficient way to heat our house during the winter months. We bought a blower for circulating the heat better and it made a huge difference. Honestly, it's still a really nice stove. We've been very happy with it so far.”
“I was looking for a wood stove with a glass door. I'd been using wood heaters for years, and while they were great for keeping the house warm, but I really wanted to be able to see the fire. So when I came across this stove online, I knew it was perfect. I was a little hesitant to purchase the Drolet Escape 1800 wood stove, but after reading the great reviews I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! It is an airtight stove, so you have to be sure to get the fire going well before you close the door. It does have an air intake rod below the door to let more air in while you're getting things going. The wood ash drawer under the firebox is a big plus too. You can easily push the ashes down there by lifting a small cast metal door up, at the front of the firebox. This is a quality stove that has really heated up my home this winter. The even heat it gives off is perfect for keeping my home warm all winter long. The best part is that it's so easy to use, and it comes crated for shipping so there's no worry about damage. I would definitely recommend Drolet stove to anyone looking for a quality wood stove.”
“We have had the Drolet Escape 1800 insert for two seasons now. It is a fantastic stove. I had a previous brand for about two months, pulled it out and returned it. The Drolet 1800 is much deeper and wider and can actually take split wood and logs up to 20 inches long or 16 inches deep. The fan is at least 50% more powerful than other brands and really throws the heat. It is quality built in Canada, not China. We have a split ranch and this little insert heats about 75% of the house with no problem. With the full glass door, or you can watch the flames roll across the wood. The draft is easy to adjust for maximum heat or length of burn.”

“Now that I finally have the Dynamic Monaco 6-person sauna assembled, it does a good job of making me sweat. Putting it together also made me sweat.
The delivery was interesting. The delivery guy wanted to leave the 800 pound pallet in the road in front of my driveway. After considerable effort, we were able to have it dropped off on the end of my driveway. The next challenge was moving the boxes. One of the boxes weighed 108kgs (238lbs). The large, awkward boxes were very difficult to move without handles or sufficiently strong strapping.
The sauna components we packed in plenty of protective material so everything survived shipping just fine.
I read somewhere that this sauna can be assembled in 1 hour. That wasn't even close to my experience. It was closer to 5 hours with 4 guys. If you were setting this up in the middle of a large room and everything went perfect, you might be able to set it up in an hour. The room I was assembling the sauna in was about 6 inches wider than the assembled sauna and I wanted it against the back wall. After laying the floor panel down where I wanted the sauna, we assembled the back and two side walls about 10 feet in front of the floor. The buckles that connect these pieces were extremely cheap. The idea of the buckles was fine but two of six buckles broke before we during assembly. After fixing with a few short sheetrock screws, we were able to move on.
We then picked up the 3 connected wall pieces (this is where the 4 guys comes in handy) and carefully walked the assembly back to the floor panel and set them in place. You would think this would be the most difficult piece - not so.
The front (glass) panel was very heavy probably 200lbs. The cleats that hold the front panel on the side walls were installed upside down. After flipping them around, getting the front panel on was challenging. It required persuasion from a large rubber mallet.
Overall, the instructions for setup were horrible. Both the text and the pictures were practically useless. The instructions for installing the electronics were even worse.
Now that the sauna is setup, I like it. It is easy to use, heats up quickly, and is plenty comfortable. I look forward to using it for many years to come”
“Prior to arrival, we spent $400 to have an electrician come out and get our electrical set up right. Plan for that little extra expense. The sauna arrived sooner than predicted, which is always a nice surprise. The packaging was solid and in pristine condition, no damage at all. The manufacturer communicates thoroughly throughout the process. Two people can easily unpackage this and set it up. Everything went together solid and looks beautiful. The sauna gets up to 149-151 degrees Fahrenheit. It fluctuates between those two temperatures once it maxes out. I’m 5’4” tall and can comfortably lay all the way across the back benches with a couple inches to spare. I sweat profusely after thirty minutes at max temperature. I already notice an improvement in the quality of my skin texture after just two weeks of almost daily use. If I feel sluggish after dinner, I use the sauna, take a shower at normal temperature, and then rinse in cold water for a minute. I’m re-energenized after that. I love the chromotherapy or reading light option and my husband seems to enjoy the Bluetooth option. Money well spent!”
