Cut the very long story short, it's May now, nothing happened, I have been asking for refund for months now and they keep prolonging and keep taking DD of hundreds of pounds! I have lost my patience and want to leave.

I’ve just put them in the county court for non payment of refund. Wasting your time dealing with the incompetent staff who handle their calls. Only interested in profit but in reality full of BS

Gas Refund Have now spoken to 8 people still haven't got my £1000 Refund. Operators do not have a clue what they are doing. What has happened to British Gas they are appalling. Gave 3 meter readings 2 meter box numbers HELP

On the old App you could change your direct debit, up or down. The new App doesn't allow you to reduce your monthly amount even though you're paying double (I know that having a smart meter and a display unit. They're quick enough to put it up but try to get a refund.

Incompetence and daylight robbery My account has just been updated since December after months of waiting for you to refund overpayments and for you to install a smart meter which you cancelled 3 times on the trot.

Over eight weeks ago I realised I had a good amount of credit on my account. After I requested a refund I have been lied to, fobbed off and they just don't want to know. If I owed them over £700 for over two months I would probably have debt collectors at my door. Absolutely disgusting service and wish I had never signed up for their rubbish service. Avoid like the plague if you can.

After phoning and mailing for my refund for several months without receiving it, and after repeatedly being misled by their staff, I eventually located a helpful firm that assisted me in filing a fraudulent case against them, with the help of ANTIFRAUD, I was able to get my FUND BACK.

Basically got a second final bill a month later after I paid a final bill and received a refund apparently from old billing system not my fault this should have been added to the first final bill , great end to the year. Cheers BG never will be back to BG

i have 198 pounds on my gas card they cut my gas of for no reason took weeks of complaints to get a new meter fitted pay as you go then sent me a new card but the credit is on the old card no one knows how how to refund the credit to my new card i have spoken to 10 different people some in africa and india they are just a joke i have no gas now over christmas they dont care no gas no refund
