“Ordered center sight for shotgun. Upon checkout I was charged $8.99 for shipping on a part that weighs less than a piece of paper. Shipped by USPS, which should have not been more than cost to mail a letter. When calling to return wrong part, I was told I would have to print new shipping label, and would be refunded. I was then instructed to go back on and order new part online. I asked if they would be willing to work on shipping cost, they stated minimum shipping charges for them from USPS is $8.99(minimum). Customer service wasn't great and the outrageous shipping cost is ridiculous. I was able to find another company to trade part out for me and waive shipping fees after hearing the charges from Brownell was charging to ship a sight bead for a shotgun. Too many other companies out there, I won't be coming back. I would not recommend!”
“I ordered a product on sale from them. It was a $130 part that i got for $100. It was a great sale. However, they shipped the product by USPS (their first mistake). The tracking says it was delivered. It says it was placed at the garage. I do not have a garage at my house. I was home on the day it says it was delivered but I never received anything. I called Brownells and they say to call USPS (like they would do anything about it). They wouldn't give me a refund or ship me a new item because it was "delivered." So I'm out $115 and they wont do anything about it. I will never order from them again. If this happened with an Amazon order, they would ship a new item out that day. Amazon knows how to keep customers happy, Brownells does not.”
“Once upon a time they were great. Selection has dropped by over 50%! Brands and cost saving 'multiples' has dwindled. I used to shop there first, but now it's as a last resort. I'm sorry they changed... Oh, I almost forgot.. Their shipping used to be fast. Now it seems to take forever unless you pay for overnight or second day air.”
