“Originally, bunq was my only way to do mobile payments without docs. It helped that I didn’t need a local EU ID to perform transactions. Didn’t even need to go anywhere else to open a bank account and virtual card. Now, when I got docs, i just don’t feel I need to switch to another bank. Stable transactions and the same level of convenience, for what I actually liked this app.”

“Uhh... opening an account took longer than advertised. It’s not 5 or 10 minutes, I’d say 20-30 minutes. Once in though, it’s smooth. So far I’m on an elite subscription. ;P”

I like that I can change the card setting myself without contacting a personal manager every time. Also, the whole history of transactions is really transparent. I could see all the money in and out. It gives me peace of mind knowing what I’m doing actually.
I had a few interactions with support, sometimes they’re slow, on other days they reply within seconds. I guess everything depends on their workload...”

I didn’t get it in the beginning, but finn explained to me well how to understand my spending habits, which changed my mindset. My only real issue is that customer service might be slow to answer, but it’s doesn’t happen regularly. All in all, I can’t imagine going back to a regular boring bank anymore”
“The bunq mobile app has plenty of useful features for travelling and budgeting purposes. Of course, it was a real surprise for me to get a bunq elite subscription for free. I decided to take full advantage of it.
Travel tips, exchanging money at low rates, creating multiple bank accounts in different currencies, all these processes went smoothly. I also order a physical card, I’d not say it was fast, it took about one week to arrive. Overall, the bunq feels very solid.”
“The banking license and regulation ensure that capital deposits are fully protected under standard regulatory frameworks. The deposit insurance is up to 100k euro, which is more than enough for me. Won’t keep more than 50k anyway, so I’m fully secured”

Certo, hanno le loro cose su cui devono lavorare come accelerare le risposte del supporto (specialmente quando si inviano richieste il venerdì), ma nel complesso sono legittimi e davvero neobank📱”
“It’s quite a lot to process, especially after using a simple mobile banking app. Imho bunq had far more features, so the first month I didn’t come out from their blog and help center sections. Waiting for responses from support wasn’t a good idea. Compared to usual bank call centers, they’re slow. But as soon I learned about features… oh this app become a real problem solver in certain situations”
