“Bought a “2 nights away” as a wedding gift. The gift box & presentation were excellent, however the next day delivery (I paid extra for) by Hermes was appalling!!
I was in all day waiting & just before 6pm I checked the Hermes app & the status was “delivered to a neighbour” with an indecipherable signature.....very odd!!
So I went in search of my parcel & found it thrown on the communal stairway on the 1st floor. The driver hadn’t pressed the buzzer for my flat but was let into the building by some else, threw the package on the communal stairway, fraudulently signed for “a neighbour” & left....absolutely appalling, and I paid extra for that “service”.
These vouchers are akin to “free money” & they are trusted to deliver them...anyone could have picked it up & used it. Disappointed & disgusted with the delivery service.”
“Have bought and received several of these voucher and found the pricing and service good.
However I do not think the recipients should have to pay anything extra at the venue. Some photos are misleading to the giver and receiver. e.g. showing steak and chips when you have to pay at least £4 each extra for the steak! ( Cafe Rouge).”
