“I love the hip flask itself. It is beautiful and the engraving is just what I'd hoped for. I love the shape of the flask with the rounded edges and the shape of it feels good in my hand. It fits neatly in my back pocket. But, the arm thing (I forgot what it's called) on the top, that was supposed to be a safety device so one wouldn't lose the cap, popped off within a few hours of gentle use--the soldering didn't hold. Also the threading of the cap is rough and so the flask leaked. My husband had an "o ring" for faucet repair and he put one inside the top of the cap so it doesn't leak now. My husband thinks he'll be able to file off the "arm thing" so it won't be dangling off the cap and that he can smooth the soldering remains on the flask so that it won't be rough.”

I was was disappointed to hear that the captive top seems to be faulty however. I haven't heard of any other issues with this particular flask so there could be the case the one you received was faulty. If you think this is the case please don't hesitate to send it back to us. “Needs better packaging, glue starting to come apart. No magnet to hold down the lid of the box. Poor box to give a gift in. Sleeve is also too large, obviously generic and not for that individual flask.”

“Great service. The flask I bought looks amazing especially with the engraving! I also had a gaelic phrase engraved and the accents wereplaced perfectly. I was very impressed. The delivery was in the 3-5 days expected time frame.”

“nice flask. Well presented in good quality pouch and gift box. Feels good handling it , smooth finish heavy and feels like a quality object. Functions well. Good close fitting top which does not need to be over tightened. Only disappointment was the flimsy plastic filling funnel which arrived broken( I'm not surprised given its inferior manufacture). I would not have used it anyway as I have others. I suggest these funnels be replaced by quality metal ones. All family members liked it. My brother in law Matt wants one for x!mas to keep his Bundy in it. I'll get him one. Cheers, Phil.”

“I ordered this at the weekend and was worried about it arriving by the friday for my friends leaving party. It arrived on the Wednesday by economy delivery and the company were really helpful when I contacted them to ask about delivery. “A beautiful little round hip flash with a Celtic Knot which I bought as a new baby present for an Australian baby. It was engraved and sent to me in Australia and arrived in less than 2 weeks. I was worried the quality may not be what it looked in the photo but to be honest it is probably even better than it looks and I could not recommend it highly enough. I was also impressed by the wide range of hip flasks on offer which is so much better that I would have found if I had trawled the Edinburgh shops to find the right thing! Price was also very competitive.”
