“I was delighted with my quaich which was delivered promptly as requested. Very helpful staff. My only disappointment was that it didn't include a card explaining what a quaich is, especially as it was a gift for someone overseas.”

Hi Alison , Thanks for your feedback. We don't have cards in every quaich it is dependant on manufacturer but of course something to consider in the future as I'm sure not everyone is aware what a quaich is. ~Rachel

“Quaich is lovely and is a great wedding gift however, disappointed that it came in a box with no protection or presentation so the quaich rattled around in the box. I have to go and buy presentation material for the box”

“I love the quaich it is very beautiful and the engraving on the outside is beautiful. However I bought the "to have and to hold " quaich and was dissapointed with the inside engraving if I hadn't known what it said and known it was there I would not have noticed it or been able to read it. It is a wedding gift and that is why I chose this quaich but I don't think my nephew and bride will realise the sentiment that I particularly chose for they're wedding as I doubt they will realise that there is a message on the inside”

Hi Joanna, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback. It is a shame to hear you are not pleased with the box that your quaich comes in. As standard the quaichs do get packed up in a plain cardboard box. It is possible to add a presentation box to your order separately if you prefer though, they are plain black with an ivory silk lining. The cost of these is £10, if you'd like to place a new order for this we can make sure we pop it in the post for you right away. - Sam

“Very helpful on the phone when we found out that we had originally ordered a special quaich which wouldn't have arrived in time for our sons wedding. Found another comparable one and we received it 3 days later.”

“By no means your fault.We had been away for a few days and missed the delivery. On return there was no quaich and no delivery note. On clearing out some rubbish by pure chance I found the parcel in one of our dustbins, the postman had put it there and had left us no note at all to tell us.Luckily although it was bin day it was not for that bin. All is fine with the quaich,thanks.”

Hi David, Woah! I've had this happen to me too with a delivery with Royal Mail, I really can't understand why the postie puts packages in our bins! I am so pleased that you found it though, it was so lucky you did especially since there wasn't a note to let you know it was there! Its great to hear that your happy with your new quaich, please know though that had there been a problem and you did not find the quaich we absolutely would have helped you out :-) - Sam

“A bit disappointed at the size of the engraving but no time to return and get another one sent to Australia, but otherwise really good. Box was bashed when arrived but that would be the post - Royal mail or Australia post!!!!”

Hi Jennifer, What a shame to hear that the order arrived with a bit of a bump! I do hope the quaich is still in one piece! We do leave the size of the text up to the discretion of the engraver so he can size this appropriate to the amount of same there is available. I really hope that you will think of us again in the future. It is possible to add instructions to our engraver on size or placement of the engraving message. We would always do our best to follow your request - Sam

“I ordered a pewter/brass model with engraving. It looked exactly like I expected and was delivered to Sweden in under 1 week. A very nice Quaich. There was a small amount of staining where the handles are attached to the body which I can easily polish away myself. This was the only reason i did not give the full 5-stars.”

It's common to see these on pewter and whilst they can be removed with polishing they often add to the character of this metal. ~Rach

“It was lighted in weight than expected and I was surprised that the jiffy bag was just sealed more securely. Just a glued flap which almost fell apart on opening. The Post Office did not tamper with it but it was the wrapping was a bit tenuous I thought. The engraving was great thank you. Well done - the girls on the 'phone were very helpful. Thanks Anthony”
