“Although the actual Quaich that I had preferred could not be delivered in time (it was the special wedding Quaich that apparently is made to order, usually about 10 days, but due to time of year, Xmas/New Year period, this did not suit), the help I received via email was good & allowed me to acquire an alternative product, which I am happy with. One point I would like to make, if I may, is that, when ordering the wedding Quaich on line, there was no mention of the 'made to order' situation at any point of the purchase system. If there had been then it would have helped & negated the need for the email traffic to sort out a solution. Regards, Alan Young”

“It would be good to have a slip of paper explaining what it is. The English friends who are to receive them will not know. They are lovely and I will provide the explanation!”

Normally there is a small card to explain what the quaich is and how its used, its usually under the quaich in the box. I am really sorry to hear it was missing! “My order seem to take longer than anticipated and when it arrived was not quite as it should be. Got in touch with customer services and arranged for another. Within a few days a replacement had arrived in a one condition. Brilliant service to sort out the problem and really nice people to talk to to make is right for me. Just wish it had been right in the first place for me to be 100% happy”

“I quite believe that I received value for my money and delivery was prompt. That being said, however, does not mean that the quaich I purchased could compete in quality with one costing hundreds of dollars. Naturally not and I did not expect it to do so. The only flaw I found was that the crest was not quite centered in the bowl of the quaich. To be honest, I seriously doubt anyone would look that closely and if they are THAT picky about MY possessions then I am likely not to invite them back into my home anyway! :) I would recommend this company to other purchasers.”

“A major delay upon ordering when my order was not checked and there was an option needing attention. My order was in limbo for some time. There was another delay in shipping on the UK end but I was contacted and told Air Mail shipping would be utilized in an attempt to get the quaich to me before the Scottish Games here. I ordered and paid April 4 and received the quaich on May 28, unfortunately after the Games. That being said, today (May 28) the quaich arrived here in the US and it is beautiful, complete with our clan crest and of great quality. We will be able to use it for future Scots events and we're glad we ordered it from buyaquaich.com. Hopefully in the future orders will be scrutinized more closely to avoid shipping delays.”

“it was beautiful and my nephew loved it. box was damaged and i would have appreciated a cloth bag to protect the pewter. this was a college grad gift for a award winning new york lacrosse team to share for team reunions.”

“Quaich was fab for a christening gift, delivery was a bit slow, but phoned after 3 days and it was posted, special delivery at no extra cost so it would arrive on time! Will def use them again.”

“The delayed delivery was frustrating, I don't know how much that was under your control. The boxes were a bit damaged when they arrived (the handles came through them) which was a little bit a pity, but the products were very good and all was well that ends well. Felix”

Hi Felix, Its good to hear from you, again I am so sorry about the delay with the delivery! I had no idea that the quaichs eventually arrived with you in such damaged packaging! We refunded your postage in the hope this would help a little. I am so glad that the quaichs were not damaged and that they were well received gifts in the end. “I was very pleased with the service received however, I was disappointed with the packaging both of the parcel and the boxing of the Quaich. The description said it 'comes boxed making it a great gift'. The delivery packaging was a jiffy bag which offered no protection to the 'gift boxing' so it arrived 'battered'. In any event the 'gift boxing' was a small sheet of thin foam wrapped around the Quaich which was then contained in the, by now battered card box. I was very pleased with the Quaich but had to pad out and 'pretty up' the inside of the box to make it more appropriate as a gift to a very good friend.”
