Bought a cooker at the end of November within 2 weeks it broke after numerous calls to return the item & them desperately trying to get me to go through the warranty of which I refused as this would mean waiting for a repair agent to come out n look & repair the cooker which was only 2 weeks old
Pls be aware ppl you do not have to do this "Under the sales of goods act" The item is not fit for purpose Which means the seller "Appliances direct" has to take the item back and either replace it or refund it no warranty needed, its now the 13th Dec its took me 3 weeks to get it picked back up and I'm still waiting for my refund Then today I thought I had it sorted Was promised a full refund of £594.

They broke the mirror on the first delivery so I was offered a refund or a replacement and I chose a replacement because I really wanted the mirror.

The Buyit Direct company is the worst company I have dealt with for over 3 months, they promise that they provided a courier for the cooker hood they sold to me broken. He constantly writes an email to them when the courier finally arrives, they give the dates but in fact these are fictitious dates. They informed me that as long as I did not take the hood, they would not refund my money and therefore the hood was not received by them
