“Price was amazing as was the dryer and couldn’t be beaten BUT on delivery, the delivery guys refused to take the tumble dryer downstairs, saying it would not fit even though we had previously taken a washing machine down the same stairs. We had paid for a 2-man delivery to take the dryer downstairs and we made it clear in the purchase notes that this would be required. After a heated argument for 10 minutes (in front of clients), the men took the dryer downstairs so what, exactly, was the issue? A shame it ruined a wonderful present for our friend.”

“Pleased with the appliance. The delivery was on time and very efficient moving it in to place and connecting. They were in such a rush to move on to their next delivery and we would have welcomed some explanation about what they had done.”

“We ordered and paid for a gas hob via the website that turned out to be discontinued (not happy). This mistake was dealt with well; the latest version was offered at the published price of the discontinued one (a significant saving). We accepted this offer (happy). The hob arrived on the date promised (happy). The original Bosch external packaging was perfectly intact but the hob plus polystyrene packaging inside was smaller than the cardboard outer, allowing it to potentially move about in transit. We rang up about this and were assured this was now "normal" with Bosch (not happy). The hob has not yet been fitted and we have asked Buywise to note our concerns about the packaging in case there are any problems following installation. Buywise were sympathetic but made no commitment. So we think an "acceptable" rating at this stage is very generous on our part. Let's hope it all works OK (or there will be a formal complaint). We should say that everyone we have spoken to throughout this minor "drama" has been very pleasant.”

“Unfortunately the appliance was not delivered on the due date since the driver could not find my apartment. This is extremely surprising since the address is in Central London and couldn't be easier to locate since it is on top of the Marriott hotel at the corner of Oxford street and Park Lane on North Row. I have been residing at this address since 15 years and have never had any one complain as to not being able to locate it. The Marriott Hotel should be commonly know to even a lay man. This has inconvenienced us a great deal since DHL came to have it picked up this morning as arranged based on your delivery on Saturday for a forward delivery to me n Dubai and unfortunately since the item was not delivered by you on the promised due date and we had to request them to come back now on Wednesday I spoke to Megan who said that she was the Manager at your office and she informed me that the earliest delivery they could now do would be this Wednesday 21st before 1pm. Kindly make sure that this is delivered on the due date and time since we had to rescheduled DHL much to their annoyance for Wednesday afternoon. Many thanks Dolly”
