Have used Cabjaks in the past and they were great. This time they finished the 2 item very fast however the workmanship was very poor. Where the screws are to hold the panels together under the laninate they are not recessed in properly and make what should have been a very tidy looking side to the cabinet now looks very bumpy. Also when layed on there back on a flat surface there is a very noticable twist to the cabinets. I hope this was just a one (well two) off incident.

It would be really great if you could send us through some photos of the defects you have noticed on your cabinets as this is not an issue we have ran into in the past and we would like to ensure this does not happen again. Occasionally, we may find a defect that was just missed by the final quality control check and in these instances, we will do whatever we can to rectify the issue. We have used cabjaks a lot in the past and have recommended their products a lot due to the quality of them. This order, we are so disappointed!!! The cabinets no longer have solid backs on them and are only stapled, not screwed. This makes them weak and twisty. We were not sure whether we could get our tall cabinets into place without them falling apart!! The cuts are not level, some were not joining correctly. My husband used to be a builder, and he was not impressed with them at all, where as he loved them in the past. We are so disappointed and won't be using Cabjaks again.

Hi Tania, We're really sorry to hear that you had a dissapointing experience with Cabjaks this time around, we strive to provide both excellent service and products to all of our customers so we appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback to help us improve. In regards to the backs on the cabinets, we have never manufactured solid backs on any of our base or tall units, the only units that have solid backs are our wall and 'sink back' cabinets otherwise all of our cabinets are provided with 3mm backs to minimise the cabinet weight and optimise costs for our customers. We haven't run into issues with our customers finding these weak before so we are happy to replace the cabinets if this is a production error on our part, there should also be a fixed shelf installed in the tall cabinets which provides structure and ensures rigidity. You also mentioned that the cuts are not level and were not joining correctly, was this in reference to the cabinets aswell or a benchtop? Either way, we would appreciate any images or further explaination you could send through so that we can pass this on to our operations team and prevent any further issues with this. My second time using Cabjacks and I should have learnt my lesson from the first. I had one item missing from the order which meant I wasn't able to start the job. Therefore I lost a day's income as I'd set aside that day to complete the work. The missing item arrived 3 days later and wasn't even the correct components as ordered. I had to source the component locally to get the job done at my expense and time.

Hi Jarred, Thank you so much for your business. We really appreciate hearing from customers like you, it’s how we improve. Occasionally, we may miss an item from an order and look to remedy this as quickly as we can. From what we understand in your case, the component was missed off during delivery by our external freight company. We were then told that they would be delivering the missing item as soon as possible and only found out after this second delivery that these panels were incorrect. Unfortunately, in this instance, it seems that communication through ourselves, the freight company and you did not go to plan, it was less than satisfactory and we are sorry. Thank you for correcting the first problem of poorly constructed cupboards. When I looked at the 2nd lot of cupboards delivered to us, I was surprised that there was another defect. The right-hand side cupboard did not have holes drilled for the handle (see attached photo). I really think there should be an improvement with your manufacturing quality and completion check processes!! I am hoping the second order we placed of a single cupboard/shelf unit has been quality checked before it gets delivered to us and we do not have a repeat experience.
