About CambriLearn:

CambriLearn is an accredited online private school for students aged 4 to 19, teaching families in more than 100 countries.

Lessons are live and timetabled, taught by qualified subject teachers, and classes run to a set weekly schedule. Students follow the International British Curriculum, Pearson Edexcel or US K-12 pathway and sit the same external examinations as students in a school building, so they leave with qualifications universities recognise anywhere.

Every lesson is recorded and available afterwards. Parents can see marks, attendance and progress at any point in the year rather than waiting for a report to arrive.

CambriLearn is accredited by Cognia and Pearson Edexcel, and is NCAA approved. More than 80,000 students have come through the school over 20 years, with a 98% university acceptance rate.

“Our daughter swims competitively, so the week takes some organising. Being able to fit her schoolwork around training has helped enormously. She’s putting the effort into both now instead of constantly trying to catch up.”

“We moved countries last year and I couldn’t face another school search on top of everything else. Having the children carry on with Cambrilearn was one less thing to sort out. Thank you so much to the academic support team and the teachers, without you it would be a mess.”

“As someone who went through almost 6 years of schooling at Cambrilearn, all I can say you guys are the absolute best! I recently completed my final Cambridge examinations and there is no chance I would have gotten the marks I did without the amazing teachers at the school. Thank you for all the support, encouragement and motivation, will never forget all you did for me.”

“My daughter started with Cambrilearn in Grade 1 and he’s in Grade 5 now. It’s helped us both a lot. She's much more confident doing her work on her own, and I like that everything she needs for the term is there under each subject and she can find the work and get on with it, but there’s still help online when we need it. Really happy we made this choice for him.”

“The teachers have really been the difference for us with Cambrilearn. It took some adjusting to with moving to a new school but if we didn't have the teachers we do here then it would never work. Very good all round, cannot complain.”

“We looked at a number of schools that offer a Cambridge aligned curriculum and the ones that we thought are the so called "leaders" are not quite that (we suggest you actually take your time to dig into these schools). Cambrilearn, for us at least, was head and shoulders ahead of the others. The staff, teachers, support, the platform all really fantastic, you cannot go wrong.”

“Our son is autistic (level 1) and a noisy classroom was too much for him, every day. We went premium for maths and English so he can message his teachers instead of putting his hand up in front of 30 kids, and he uses it more than he ever spoke up in class. He's calmer. So am I, to be fair.”

“Good teaching and good structure, and my daughter is doing well with her International GCSEs. She sits her exams at a centre here in Nairobi and the exam fees are separate from school fees. Fair enough, I just wish I'd known sooner so I could plan for it.”

“A Levels are a big jump and my daughter underestimated it. So did I. We started her on standard and moved maths and chemistry to premium in the second term once it was obvious she needed more contact time, should have done that from day one.”

“He hadn't been in school properly since Year 7. Anxiety first, then a year of meetings that went nowhere. We deregistered in January and it hasn't been perfect, but he logs on most days without me begging, and on a good week he does more than I ask. If you're where we were a year ago, I'm sorry, it's horrible. There are options.”

“Writing this from a catamaran off Vilanculos (long story). The kids do school at the saloon table every morning. We've got Starlink so the live lessons mostly work, and when they don't the kids catch the recordings later. Their science teacher keeps asking for dolphin photos.”

“My daughter acts, and Cape Town's film season means she's on set for days at a time. Her old school was very understanding at first and a lot less understanding by the third letter home. Now she takes her laptop to set and works between takes. Nobody minds if she does science at 9pm.”

“His old school used to ring me at work every other day. Cambrilearn haven't rung once since we moved him at Easter. Could be the school, could be him growing up a bit, but I'll take it.”

“South Africans in Doha here. We went with the British curriculum because we don't know where we'll be in five years, and being an hour ahead of SA means the live lessons land at sensible times for us. Two kids in two different stages at one dining table gets loud. We've invested in good headphones.”

“We semigrated from Joburg to Cape Town in June and the one thing that didn't change was school. Same teachers, same login. She did a week of work from my sister's spare room while the movers lost half our furniture. One less thing to sort out in a very messy year.”

“He was bored stiff at his old school and it showed in his behaviour. Here he can work ahead in maths and nobody makes him sit through a lesson he already understands. Taking a star off for the social side, which honestly is more on us than the school. He needs to get out of the house more, so we've signed him up for hockey and a coding club.”

“We're Afrikaans, and I half expected the online side to end up mostly in English anyway. It hasn't. His lessons and his teachers are Afrikaans, and that matters to us. Small hiccup with two of his live lessons clash with rugby practice, so he watches those recordings later in the week. Not ideal, but he keeps up.”
