This is the second caple oven I have had the first one would not turn off and had it replaced but both of them take ages to light you have to hold the knob in for a long time have you any suggestions ?

Cut your losses, get rid of it! Caple stuff is crap! Charged through the nose for by kitchen fitter, planner, installer companies, crap!
