“I have made my last payment to Carrington Dean on 12 Feb 24. Still waiting for them contacting my creditors. I am on an interest only mortgage so I need to change it but my Credit score still states my creditors on it. When they eventually reply to my emails they say it will be closed soon. I have the discharge letter stating I'm done since 24th May 24 so don't understand the delay. Very disappointed with their service. See they have great reviews on Trust pilot but that's people starting off wait until the end of your journey with them it is a nightmare. Customer service seems to be in some other country far away as I receive emails at 4am in the morning or wishing me good afternoon at 10am in the morning. That's after I've waited about 5 days for a reply. Carrington Dean NOT GOOD ENOUGH”
“I am still waiting on them closing the TD, it's been over 3 months since they claimed it would be done.
Further to this, they lied to me about what was involved. They pushed me into the TD without explaining my options.
After speaking to an independent advisor they suggested an entirely different and less invasive route, this left me seriously unimpressed.
Being on the TD has severely affected my ability to gain new employment as I require security clearance for my career and I now constantly fail those checks because of the TD.
If anyone knows a decent lawyer I am more than willing to pursue this now.”
“I cannot overstate how much I would advise anyone to avoid this company. Customer service was good until the paperwork was done. After that, I have highlighted several issues which desperately needed to be sorted and it has been a nightmare, 5 official complaints, dozens of emails, contacting the ombudsman, the administrator and the FCA and I’m no further forward. This is despite the company admitting to an “administrative error” which caused a lot of the problems. In my opinion, I would never use this company and I cannot wait until I don’t have to deal with them anymore.”
