“WE have just replaced our old Catmate cat flap after 10yes of service. So we ordered the same, delivery was fast and efficient. Only issue is the quality of the screws they now use. It’s in but not sure how I’ll get it out, but if it lasts as long as the last 1 I’ve got 10yes to wait!”

“This replaced an identical one wrecked by jet-fuelled dog. Didn't realise I could just have bought a replacement door! I had to use part of the old frame as the screw-holes on the new frame did not quite match the ones already drilled for the old door. All well now, pleased with door, it looks smart & the quality is good for the price.”

“Have just installed it & so far no problems. We have collies & they are going through it easily. NIce & easy to put the cover on to make it secure. Will be interesting to see how long the flap lasts as dogs go through it quickly. Have bought a spare flap but at £20 a throw just hope they last quite a while.”

“The cat flap was as expected and was fitted without too many problems. The Hermes delivery was slow ,arrived 1/10/18, 6 days after I had received dispatch confirmation.”

“Easy to fit if you can use a jig saw. Beware the plastic screws ( don’t overtighten!). Dog loves it. Downside is that it blows open in even light winds letting in the cold and rain. Such a shame because otherwise super.”

“The catflap box was a bit battered when it arrived, could haved done with protective packaging. Also one of the magnets fell off when I unpacked the catflap and the flimsy piece of plastic which helped hold it in place broke off when I tried to put it back. Fault there lies with the manufacturers. Otherwise service good.”

“A template would have helped as it’s difficult to draw round the outside of the tunnel part accurately. Screws were not long enough as my inside door is quite thick and also being hollow didn’t help, so after cutting the hole the cat flap is not secure. The outside bit has nothing securing it as any attempt to screw that in separately would hit the screws from the other side. Have to ring company Monday.”

“This is our second purchase of the same model. Perfect for our needs and actually looks good in our door. The only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is that as time went on it started to eat batteries to the extent that they lasted only days. And these are good quality batteries - Duracell.”
