“Cat spot is a great alternative to traditional cat litter. It is light weight and natural. The coconut fibers absorb the urine and allow for easy removal of bowel movements. When it is time to change the litter, we simply dump it around our garden as mulch. The urine smell dissipate quickly. It looks great in the flower beds and helps with moisture retention.”

However, even though we got a few bags of the clumping type, it just doesn’t clump well at all.
😞 I wish it did and we would stick with it. But we care for 14 rescued cats and have 9 litter boxes so clump-ability is very important. We have been using Smart Cat litter for years (but it’s pretty expensive) but might switch to Garfield cat litter which is made with corn and cassava and clumps really well.
I’d be willing to try Cat Spot again if the clumping action were improved without compromising its chemical-free quality.
