“Love this litter. My only concern is that it tracks very easily. I have to sweep it up everyday. Not sure how to remedy this. Other than that, it is the first litter my cat really seems to like”

“We just switched over to this coconut litter. The “original” didn’t do a very good job with odor control. We switched to the clumping litter which performs much better. We have five cats, and the recommended usage of 1 bag per cat is a little low, we are using more than that. The only concern is it is not stated what the clumping agent is and the website talks against clumping litter, which is odd for a product one sells. What is the “natural” clumping agent?”

“Cat Spot was recommended to me by a fellow cat lover. I was excited about not hauling heavy litter boxes anymore. At first I liked the litter and it does absorb urine very well. It was nice to flush stool down the toilet instead of wasting a plastic bag each time. The big turnoff for me was that I found it EVERYWHERE in my house. The coconut husk is so light that it gets stuck to my cats paws and wherever he goes it goes. It was carried all over my house and impossible to stay ahead of. There was also more dust than I thought there would be and a fine layer of brown dust coated everything in the room with the litter box. Sorry, but I won’t be buying again.”

“I’ve been using this product for years. I like that it’s all natural. The only problem I have with it is that they don’t shred the coconut enough. Every order comes with huge clumps that hasn’t been shredded. So the urine doesn’t soak up with the clumps. I’ve complained but nothing is ever done about it. It’s only gotten worse. The first several bags I got in the begining were perfect. I haven’t had a bag like that since.”

“Cat Spot Litter is very soft on my paws. It does not get stuck between the pads and nails. This helps reduce tracking, which makes my daddy happy. Being fine particles, there is a little bit that gets airborne. So, I do hold my breath a little when covering the presents I leave, but it is not nearly as dusty as the conventional cat litters. About the only litter medium I like better is the sand at the beach! I give Cat Spot Litter five (yes count them, 5) big meows. Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! Love, Burnie”

“I do like how light it is with no dust-ups when I'm filling the box or sifting. I like the color and the look of the softer material, almost like sawdust. The downside is that when I try to scoop it up, it just falls apart and much ends up right back in the box. I know clumping clay litters are bad for kitty and hoped this would be the solution. Also, Kitty doesn't like how it gets all over her paws, so when she is finally outside the box, she shakes her feet, tossing residue everywhere. (She's a longhaired Ragdoll.) My solution so far is adding some of the clean low dust litter in with it. She's taken to that pretty well, but the other issues are still apparent. I'm not totally throwing in the towel on the product yet though. I like the idea of it well enough to try and troubleshoot a bit longer.”

“Our cat lives it - we have a tub of Cat Spot and a tub of the old stuff and she uses the Cap Spot. I love how light weight it is and how there is no dust, BUT, she leaves a trail of litter 10-15 feet long after using it. Any suggestions on how to stop the trail?”

“Horrible smell of ammonia unless you mix the box 3+ times a day and such a mess!! I'm having to vacuum constantly and I'm sure there's still tiny pieces of coconut in the carpet that will never come out.”

“I have been using CatSpot clumping litter for two years. During that time I paused my subscription to try something “cheaper”. I was very disappointed and returned to CatSpot. It is easy to scoop, keeps our house from smelling, and we never run out with our subscription. I have two cats, two litter boxes and usually scoop every day (every other occasionally). When I go to visit my children, I can usually smell their clay litter not doing it’s job. I highly recommended CatSpot.”

“I pay more for this litter because it does not smell, it holds the cat odor down like a sumo wrestler, it is lightweight like a butterfly, it clumps like a female high school student and yet it does not adhere to the box - it is loose like drunk Aunt Mary at the wedding reception dance. It vacumes up as if it were never there. It does not scratch the floors and it does not hurt to step upon. Aaaaand the delivery guy who brings it to my door is nice for my nosy neighbor to watch. All good!”

“I got the clumping kind, I love this litter, I saw many reviews from many different places, so I tried it. After it got here, (Long time to get here) I even suggested to Chewy that they carry it. So keep checking and see if they get it. It's over priced as most of these kinds are, but it's cheaper by around 4 bucks than the other ones. They really should have a larger bag with cheaper price, but it is definately the best litter! No dust, light, smells good, no smell at all when they go. It's quite amazing.”

“This is THEE most incredible cat litter I have ever used. The litter box sits outside on the lanai in a VERY humid climate. It clumps beautifully and the smell is less than zero. The fact that it is completely natural is just the icing on the cake. Less waste in the world by constant recycling from start to finish with this product. I am beyond impressed. Keep up the good work and thank you for such a wonderful product. My neighbors thank you too :)”

“I have one cat and I use one bag per month. I change the litter on the 10th 20th and 30th of each month. It works great. I maintain one extra bag just in case my delivery doesn’t come in time. In two years that’s only happened one time.”

“Live the product but would like to see packaging changed to biodegradable. Also would add Pine chips / dust to help control smell.”

“I do love this product mostly because it is biodegradable. But because it is so light it goes everywhere in our bathroom, we have tried numerous things, a deep litter box, space carpet, door mats, and even cat litter box mats. The cleaning is ok, but smell of ammonia can get really bad so I use baking soda with it to extend litter weekly.”
