She used to change from black to gray when she used the litter box (especially during dry days with a lot of static), but that hasn't been an issue since switching. “Best litter I've ever used as far as containing odors! People have said they didn't realize I even had a cat until they saw him.
I have one cat and go through 1/3 of the bag every 10 days, dumping all the used litter in the backyard. It does seem to take quite a while to compost into the ground though.
Only downside that I don't like is the particles are so small, I haven't found a litter mat yet that will get it off their paws so it's not tracked all over the house.”
