“It is easy to use, efficient at absorbing urine and associated smell. I use it as a base and I use kitty litter on top. I 11 lb can for 1 week then change it out.”
“Love the Cat Spot litter! And so do our cats! It is not as dusty as other litters we have tried (and there have been so many!), it absorbs odors extremely well, and it lasts a long time. The trick is to stir it up a couple times each day. If you smell something, as soon as you clean out the poo and stir the litter well, the odor is gone. It can be hard to find poo lumps sometimes, so run the scooper through all of the litter.
This is the first litter we have found that we think the world of. It is convenient, very light-weight (the bags weigh practically nothing), and lasts way longer than other litters we have tried. We have three cats using three boxes and don’t have to change out the litter for 2-3 weeks.
We use the non-clumping litter; have not tried the clumping version. Don’t need the clumping because the urine soaks right into the litter and stirring it keeps it all fresh.”
