“Not sure when the problems with the car i bought from Cawdor Group in newcastle Emlyn are going to be repaired properly... But safe to say ive had a gut full of chasing up this garage to fix my car returning with the same problems twice a week, every week since october! Light sensors still broken, right tyre still making a horrid noise. They actually had the car for 5 days last week and did absolutely nothing to repair it, they didn't even phone to let me know the car was back, i had to chase them. Pretty sure i had exactly the same issue 4 years ago when i bought my mini there....exactly why i did not want to purchase from them again. I should absolutely have trusted my gut but hey ho was my last resort to a short timeframe and desperate need for a car, i thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt. It seems I'll just have to keep wasting my fuel and time chasing them...same story different year. Every time ive take my golf back so far they have found another problem, why these problems can't be fixed in the same day is utterly baffling as well as being frustrating and upsetting. And still, after nearly a month, the issue i am having with the car has not been resolved. I will say as a positive everyone who works there is ever so nice. However, the amount of time ive spent with them is disturbing for a recognised brand like vahxaul.”
“Wheels have started to rust on my Mokka which is under 3 years old. Have had to chase garage 4 times to get something done but have still not have a reply as to what action will be taken.”
“After my car broke down on 6th October, which I purchased on 1st. September, I received neither apology nor sympathy from Cawdor. The only thing the Service Manager was concerned about was that I hadn't received a printed report about the breakdown from the AA mechanic. I arranged for this the next day. I tried to get help initially by pressing the red OnStar button. However I was told no help was forthcoming as the car was not registered with OnStar. I was not informed that I had to register the car by Cawdor. I was pleased with the help the AA provided as they managed to get the car working & I was able to get home. At least I was able to phone Cawdor & obtain the AA number.
I could not get a courtesy car until the following Wednesday. The car I received was an Astra which was in dire need of valeting. It was dirty inside & smelled.
Altogether not a very good all round experience with Cawdor,”

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by not having a courtesy car available sooner, and appreciate the vehicle was not cleaned to our usual high standards because of this. “Car broke down. And the rac dropped the car in Llanelli Cawdor. Service guy told me the car should be ready by 12pm next day. Lucky I phoned before leaving to pick up the car. The car was not ready. So I asked why they didn't phone me to say that the car was not ready. And the man said they had to push my car in and I was lucky that they had time to repair it .he made it seem As if it was my fault that the car broke. If Cawdor had just phone me in the morning and said there was going to be a delay in the car repair I would have been happy. That is good customer service. Not sarcastic attitude your Llanelli staff have got.”
