“I have fed all of my Akitas the Challenge range of food for over 12yrs and wouldn't feed anything else. It was an obvious choice to start my two rescue Akitas on it when they arrived 2 years ago. They are absolutely thriving on it. They gained condition and their coats improved within weeks of starting them on it and, two years later, they look forward to every meal.
I Highly recommend Challenge to anyone looking for a good quality, complete food for their dog. In my opinion (and my dogs) it's the best x”
“Disappointed that the dog foods have changed since the take over of this company. I have dogs with specific issues and have purchased Challenge dog food for many years, now I'm having to guess which one will replace my usual. The one closest has a very dry appearance, one the kibble is too small and I now have to pay over £60 for a bag.
I realise that costs have risen but the cost of your products are now making me look elsewhere. The cost of the small white fish crunchies is ridiculous for what is basically a waste product.”
Hi Susan thank you for your comments, I'm sorry you are disappointed with the new range as we are getting a lot of positive feedback regarding the changeovers. We have provided guides as to recommended products to switch to and are always happy to offer help and advice so that customers do not have to guess what to feed. Unfortunately we cannot avoid the increases of cost or manufacture but we do pride ourselves on our high meat and fish content products that are hypoallergenic, grain free and with animal protein as the first main ingredient..
“My young dog has an allergy to rice and it seems all complete dog foods now contain rice so she had tried a salmon and potato food and loved it, Challenge had an offer on Facebook so I ordered 3 bags and she loves it so now as not to complicate feeding time with 2 other dogs they are all on the Salmon and potato, they get so excited at feeding times and even have it as a reward when we are out walking, very pleased with it.
