When contacting Trading standards you are put through to citizens advice who triage your concerns they decide if to put complaint forward or not,
advising trader has chance to fix faults again NO way

“When the men came to the door, they did not look like the photo of a gentleman, that was advertised online. They said that they were related to him. They said that if i was not happy with the work, i would not have to pay. They braught some paint the following day, and I saw them mixing it, an they did a terrible job, patchy walls. I felt intimidated, and felt obliged to pay them £200. When it came to leaving a review, I thought , as they could trace it, there was a possibility of them reacting. I had to put it down to a very very bad experience. It's best to check, reviews carefully, I did not.”
