“Feels like a real scam. Bought a deal off wowcher for 300 EuroMillions syndicate lines and 200 online scratchcards. At first I could log in to my account and now there's no way to do that or contact them ( they don't reply to e-mails to re-set my password!) Who knows I could have won!
AVOID !!”
“I bought the euro millions last Friday I emailed them 3 times now, no reply as expected, £9 gone down the drain, its the principal not the money scam do not use at all. Wowcher shouldn’t be letting things like this on their site for consumers to use.”
“Purchased syndicate lines through wowcher for £9. Registered on the website and i was sent a load of lines (image attached) with no indication which draws they were going to be entered into. Several emails later (as they have no telephone contact number on the webpage) and still no response, even though some of the lines would have won small amounts of money (shared between the syndicate) my account shows no evidence of this money and i have since reported this company to trading standards. Wowcher is currently showing 1710 purchases of this deal which is the best part of £17k that this company has fraudlently obtained.”
“Absolutely rubbish I have been trying to redeem my wowcher since months but website keep asking me to subscribe at least £4.99 a week. Even I try to subscribe but still won't process. Keep bringing me back to empty basket. I tried to get my credit back from wowcher but there website keep saying loading but nothing further than that. Waste of time waste of money. And temper is high because of these idiots”
“Same as previous people. We won (although not large prizes). Did some investigating on the companies house and it seems suspicious at best. Multiple companies setup by the owners about the same time, many of which had strike notices until about the time of the Wowcher offer. 2 of these had strike notices (which are handed out for not filing accounts or paying taxes).
The facebook page is full of random images of lotto winners that have nothing to do with the company. Just look at some of the earlier reviews too. Since when does Joseph Starlin and Beckham play the lotto using a company set up in 2018?
I recommend reporting this to Wowcher, although I did this a few days after the draw and had no response from them either. They actually still have an offer for this posted on their front page!”
“Avoid! I bought 300 lotto lines and 200 scratchcards off wowcher as it seemed a good deal. For 2 weeks now it has said it is processing the order. I started a conversation with cheeky lottos through email but when I finished answering all their questions and wanted answers for myself, they stopped messaging me. I have sent 3 unanswered emails since and like others have said previously I sense they have taken the money and bolted. Feels very much like a scam”
“Had won on last weeks EuroMillions - had no reply since original hello email, 2 weeks later. No response through email or facebook - numbers have been removed from the site - my account page -- Luckily took photos before they removed them so have evidence of winnings! Yet they still want to ignore my contact. Absolutely appalling and almost criminal. Feel like an employee who I advised of my numbers has just claimed them themselves, taken the money and removed the information from my account! NEVER USE - COMPLETE CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE”
