“Easy to install and work great in my 55 gal drum. Noticed a lot of water makes it to the floor so I will need to get a washing machine pan to catch it. Coop is a wood floor shed and don’t want to rot it out.”
“I like these. I have 5 in 5 different runs. I am having a problem getting all 50 chickens to use them and in the summer heat that is a problem. I love using them in the igloos so that the water is closed and the dirt and debris stays out and you can add ice to help keep the water cold. I’m looking forward to see if the water will stay warm in the winter. Truthfully I replaced one drinker on each one with a cup because I can’t afford to have a chicken not drink in this 111 degree heat and I’m happy that they are interchangeable. I also like the plug on the end so they are easy to clean.”
“We've used ChickenWaterer for years and love that it keeps our water clean and easy to manage. This past year our older model final gave out and we upgraded to the new version. Unfortunately, it arrived with a flaw that led to immediate leaking. Customer service was great though and sent out a new one right away.”
“Really great service, but the cover for the dispenser part of my waterer has scared my chickens away. I have wiggled the tip so they could recognize the familiar sound, and come over to explore, but its been a couple weeks and no luck! I was really hoping that they would get used to it because of the green algae that accumulates-so hard to keep it clean- not sure what to do now.”
“Seem to work well chickens drank right away. They seem to drink more often in order to get enough water. Only issue is that the water drips a lot I had to put a garbage can lid under the plastic 50 gallon drum to collect drips. I'll see how it works through the winter”
