“Nice web site. Easy to place order. Seem a nice company to deal with. Difficult to tell what the quality of the chest of drawers I was purchasing was like but I was a bit diassapointed as the carcass was very lightweight veneer. Overall it was nicely machined and looked Ok. I just wished the description made it more clear. It's great that they offer free returns for any reason. The only problem is that it's almost impossible to extract the furniture without demolishing a lot of the packaging and wrapping (very well protected) and they of course require any returns to be in the original packing.”

“I ordered a butterfly-extending table in oak colour, and it's just what I was looking for. When not extended, it is small and compact enough to fit in my small kitchen. If and when I do want to extend it, the butterfly extension is simple and straight-forward to use. The only (minor) issue I have is that it moves too easily on my laminated floor; I would have preferred it to be a little heavier and more stationary. Otherwise, it is near perfect.”

“Chest of drawers was badly made with bad fitting draws - had to cut open the packaging to unpack chest so do not have the packaging anymore and cant return. Due to this fact I have consigned the chest of drawers to the spare bedroom for storage so drawers arnt used too much as they are difficult to open and have a habit of not shutting correctly, ie do not line up with the draws above without a lot of mucking about. Have not complained about this just put it down to experience and will not order again. In my opinion Chilterns website comes across that the furniture is good quality UK made furniture, in fact it is cheaply made furniture from Vietnam - suggest you pay a bit extra elsewhere and hopefully you will get better quality”
