“Ordered these to be sent direct to my daughter as a Christmas gift. Apparently they looked and smelt so delicious she ate one immediately she opened the box. I’m told there was plenty of delicious oozy filling. Only down side was they didn’t last long! Will have to order more!”

“Al Quite happy to give you some feedback, but we haven't really got round to consumption yet what with several kilos of Christmas pudding to work through. Just one technical matter. Think you need to refine your system a bit - we are the recipients of a gift from Linda Smith but your request addresses us as Linda and is obviously intended for the purchaser!”

Hi, Thank you for your review and sorry for the confusion regarding the name. I have had a look into this, and think I have seen the problem. The review system is completely automated by a third party software provider (www.reviews.co.uk). There are three main important parts of the order information that the review software looks at: Billing Name & Address Shipping Name & Address Email Address (Normally the purchasers email address) When a review is sent, it is sent to the name in the **billing section**, and to the **email address** which is normally the purchaser. On this particular order, Linda did not enter her email address, she used yours instead (which typically doesn't happen as customers tend not to want receipts sent to the gift recipient etc). This has meant that the name in the email and review is taken from the **billing section**, but sent to your email address. I know this probably sounds really confusing, and I apologise for that. Unfortunately as a small business with limited funds available for custom website development, we have to rely on third party software providers to provide us with affordable technology solutions, however as a result we are unable to change any part of the review software, but can assure you that 99.99% of the time, the review system works really quite well. :) I hope you enjoy the Christmas pudding and the chocolates too! “I’ve purchased a chocolate subscription for my partner and a few Christmas boxes for friends and family. The quality of the chocolates is the best I’ve ever had from a box of chocolates and some innovative flavours. Even the unusual flavours where you don’t have a reference are delicious. The chocolates are delivered by DPD and there are good communications about when to expect these. When I’ve contacted the Chocolate Society before the responses have always been pretty quick and friendly. Strongly recommend The Chocolate Society- they will be my chocolate supplier of choice for the future!”
