“Mixed but overall positive. Ordered online where there was no option to request a delivery date. Did receive an email to clarify which I responded to with a chosen date. My tree and wreaths did not arrive on that date - disappointing in that I'd arranged for a Sunday so I could spend a pleasant afternoon decorating it. I did phone to enquire where they were and had a very polite, friendly and apologetic conversation. My items were delivered the following day and left at the back of my house as requested. Wreaths are really lovely and tree has character and is a good size. All's well that ends well.”

Thanks for the review. Yes, there was a bug in the website at the moment that you placed the order so the delivery date was missed of your order. The website bug was literally there for 30 mins and unfortunately no one else experienced this. In regards to decorating your tree on a Sunday afternoon - we do make it clear on the website that you shouldn't plan to decorate or throw Christmas parties based on the delivery date because we deliver up until 8pm. Anyways we did resolve the issue and arranged a delivery date for the Monday. We didn't actually have a van running on this date but we ran a delivery team so that we could get your tree to you asap. We also upgraded your wreath from an 8 inch decorated wreath to a 10 inch decorated wreath plus we upgraded the size of your tree free of charge. We do need to highlight that next year if you order a wreath from us then it won't be the same size as this year because of the free upgrade. It's unfortunate that we couldn't achieve a 5 star review but we appreciate the honest review. We wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and hopefully next year we can achieve a 5 star review from yourself. Thanks Christmas Trees Preston

“Excellent Service, Great Christmas Tree delivered on the day promised. Would have 5* if came with wood base for it to stand up.”

Hi Angela - thanks for the review. We do make it super clear that the trees are sold without any base. Our customer base usually buys trees every year so they have the stands already or they purchase a stand. If we start providing wooden blocks then; 1) the tree won't last as long because water-holding stands to keep the tree fresh. 2) we're then chopping down trees to create a stand and that's now an environmentally friendly solution. We're an environmentally friendly business in which we plant two trees for every Xmas tree we sell. It would defeat the purpose of this initiative if we started cutting down trees just to create a base for a xmas tree.
