Really not surprised to see so many bad reviews. If you are considering getting a Citreon (or likely any other car from the Stelantis Group) then I wish you the best of luck. This is our first experience with Citreon and will absolutely be our last. Our C5 Aircross is less than 1 year old and had an engine warning light fault appear out of the blue telling us to get it checked immediately. Our local (Glasgow) Citreon dealership could not look at it for 4 MONTHS!! We therefore had to travel a considerable distance to get another dealership to look at it. For them to just look at the issue was £162! Ultimately the problem was described as 'oil deterioration' which according to Citreon is a servicing issue (even though it's not close to being due its first service) and therefore not covered under warranty. So we have paid almost £400 to repair this 'servicing issue' - On top of all this, the car has been subject to a recall notice due to faulty stop/start functionality. Again, our local Citreon dealership could not do this work for months (likely contributing to the 'oil deterioration' with constant engine idling). When raising with Citreon UK they could not be more unhelpful. The dealership said it was up to Citreon and Citreon have said it's up to the dealership. Citreon also have no complaint process and advised me to contact the ombudsman which I intend to do. I suspect the remainder of my lease will continue to be problematic and expensive.

Citreon c5 aircross 20 plate 38.000 on clock.lost compression.cost £4,750 in the end as timming chain so flimsy needed whole engine stripping down to get to root of problem. Car is like new immaculate but still owe 7 000 on loan for car and citreon say won't help as it was just over the service altho service had nothing to do with the engine failing

If I could give a zero rating I would. 38,000 miles on a fully serviced C3 and the timing belt needs replacing and apparently, this isn't a fault? As a loyal customer of 20 years, I expected better. Absolutely shocking customer service fobbed off at every turn.

I desired very much and bought this C3 fully loaded. Car was initially good. But when it started giving issues, no one is there in service centers. Very poor service and no responds even from the sellers in Chennai. Highly disappointed. Cars to avoid buying. Mine is run for only 8000 kms in last 2 years. But not satisfactory.

Expecting me to pay over one thousand pounds to replace the add blue tank on my Berlingo van that is clearly a manufacturer design fault having fitted a substandard tank . They say it is ware and tear . A tank really ??? I would never buy from or deal with Citroen again as there customer care is absolutely zero .

Citroen Ireland could not supply a wiper motor part for my 8 year old Citroen C5.My car was off the road for five months! They kept stringing me along with false promises of the part coming in 'next month'.Eventually I had to purchase a second hand wiper motor myself to get my car back on the road.I like my car but the Citroen spare part back up is abysmal!

I recently brought my van, under warranty, to Bassett Citroen Bridgend service center due to persistent daily low oil level messages over the last four months. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Upon leaving the van for inspection, the first day seemed to prioritize other matters, delaying the resolution. When finally checked on the next day, no fault was identified. The suggested advice to avoid parking on hills proved impractical, considering the issue persists even on flat surfaces. I am disappointed by the lack of a thorough investigation and the impractical advice given. As a loyal Citroen customer, I expected a more efficient and effective resolution process. Summary of Service Visit: 1.Work Interruption: Lost two days of work as my van was unavailable for job. 2. Financial Loss: I incurred a cost of £138 for a service that provided impractical and ineffective advice regarding the persistent low oil level issue. 3.Additional Expense: Spent £10 on a spirit level, advised for parking adjustments, adding to the financial burden. 4.Unresolved Issue: Despite the service visit, the primary problem of the daily low oil level message remains unresolved. This overall experience has been both financially burdensome and time-consuming, leaving me dissatisfied with the level of service provided.

5 yer old c4 cactus 1.5 diesel with ad blue fault. Took 4 weeks before the dealership could check the vehicle . Now been told it needs new ad blue tank at cost of £1800. Service manager admits this is a common fault and they have vehicles in every day with ad blue faults and to raise a claim with Citroën. After a week Citroën customer services said there is nothing they can do and admit they are aware of faults with adblue system. The vehicle has only done 50000 miles and now stuck in a garage with no date for when parts will arrive. Do not buy a diesel. Do not buy Citroën.

An awful company. Got a letter saying the car needs to be recalled for safety purposes. When we try to book it in they say there is no such recall. Emailed them several times but no answer to our question. Called them, and they won't discuss it with me because I am not the registered owner (wife is in bed as on nights). I just asked them to write to her to tell her if the work needs to be carried out or not, and they won't even do that. While I am having my rant their service dept. is also awful. The amount of time they take is just unacceptable. Our first and last Citroen.

Purchased a 4 year old Citroen Berlingo 11 months a go, it has been in the garage three times with issues, it malfunctioned on Sunday 6th October 2019, taken to Citroen Cherry orchard way by the AA, despite leaving messages with the sale team, when we called the Citroen garage, as we had not heard from them, the staff member said he wondered why the car had been left there, no one had even passed any messages on, rubbish after sales care, my car is still in the garage 11/10/2019, they are hoping to do the work by Tuesday LOL..... no one updates you , no calls back when they say they will. Car still under warranty, but they say the repair of a clutch on a car that has done 50k miles might be down to us, if this is the case I will be getting in touch with trading standards and the motor omnibus. A will be getting rid of my Citroen as soon as I get it back. Would never buy a Citroen again
