“My wife booked a taxi at 2pm for 8pm tonight to get her home from work they finally picked her up at8.38pm she was told they didn't have one in the hasland area she actually works at a nursing home 50 metres from horns Bridge in Chesterfield”

“Absolutely shocking i get up to 4 taxis every week each trip costing just under £20 spend a fortune and the 2 women in the taxi office are rude they take the bookings then dont send the taxi making my kids late for school then i have to re-book another taxi and have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for another one to not turn up and when i ring back they think its funny im absolutely disgusted AVOID!!!”
“Rang for a taxi at 3.50pm and was told it would be roughly half and hour but could be a little longer as they were running late, which was fair enough. Rang again an hour later to ask where the driver was, and again was told he was running later than expected due to heavy traffic, which again I accepted, and was told he would be about 15/20 minutes. Another HOUR goes by and still no taxi.........we've been waiting outside in the freezing cold with 10 bags of shopping for 2 and a half hours by this point. So my partner rang yet again to be told that the driver had arrived and rang us to say so......NO HE DIDN'T!! They said my phone was switched off.......NO IT WASN'T. He had not gone to the right pick up point, which we had verified on the two previous calls as well as the initial booking, and rather than admit his mistake, told his controller that we were the ones at fault. Disgusting service to leave someone waiting for two and a half hours in freezing weather and then blame the customer for the driver not turning up. We ended up lugging our 10 bags onto the bus, which I wish we had done in the first place. I'd have given zero stars if it would have let me!! My advice is either use a more professional taxi service than this lot, use a bus, or as a better alternative to City Taxis Chesterfield, walk!!”
“Totally unprofessional I booked a taxi Friday night when I finished work I got the message it w en route and the call back to say it had arrived but no one came I rang up and I was informed the driver turned the job down they did send another one but it was nearly 10 o clock when I arrived home. This morning I phoned them at 5.15 so I could get a taxi to work for 7 o clock still hadn't turned up at 7.30 my next door neighbour gave me a lift to work all in all they're garbage”
“Sadly the booking office really seem to let down the usually helpful and friendly drivers (the ones that aren't on speakerphone the entire journey that is)...taxi promised that don't turn up or booked for a certain time well in advance that turn up late, meaning appointments and link up transport missed. It's impossible to book a type of vehicle for say trips to airport or train station requiring extra boot space for luggage. Bookings pushed ahead rather than on first come first served basis, taxi...Sadly after using Club taxis for many years the transition to City taxis has really downgraded this once reliable firm!”

“Booked a taxi at 10am for 7pm pick up. Didn't arrive. Was guaranteed our return pick up at 11.30 would definitely happen. Didn't arrive. At the same venue 3 other city customers didn't get their taxi either. Not worth the phone call. AVOID”
