“Thank you for the workshop. I attended because I wanted to learn bonsai as a traditional Japanese art form. While the class was well run, it felt more like a general plant workshop, with little focus on Japanese culture or philosophy.
I would appreciate more cultural context in future bonsai workshops. Thank you,”
“Search filters are limited. Would be great to filter children’s classes by ages. Also lots of promotional listings for classes that require groups and a private book, would be nice to filter these out so you can only see public classes with available dates.”
“Mostly good although i had included in the booking info that there was a dietary restriction in our party and Class Bento did not pass this along to the teacher.”
“I thought the class was a bit too complicated for a ‘beginners’ class. Clearly a few people were at least Intermediate and showing them new stitches meant beginners not getting enough attention. Were shown a couple of stitches going behind and in front of the columns (can’t remember the name) instead of just concentrating on basic stitches, and how to read a pattern. Four people might be better class size.”
“Would have liked a little more freedom to create. Finished 2 hour class very early. Still had 40 minutes to go and felt rushed to finish. Nice host apart from that.”
“The concept was great - painting porcelain bowls in decorative colours - problems was the two young staff members spent most of there time on there phones rather than walking around giving advice and helping customers.
Also - it was 38 outside - the only air conditioner was a small cooler on wheels which both girls sat in front of, it wasn’t moved around so others could cool off.
I found it ok - but there are other paint classes that do a much better job of helping customers and also being entertaining.”
