“Pop Art Portrait painting workshop was great fun. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The time went by so fast, I wish the class was maybe a half hour longer.”
“Very enjoyable home kitchen and dining experience with Henry clearly demonstrating and engaging our group in the preparation and cooking of very tasty food. Feel confident to do it myself.
Written description of the process of cooking paella would have been perfect. Henry gave lots of useful tips for food prep and knife application.
Using arborio rice rather than Spanish rice seemed less authentic. Terrific dish for a group.”
“We had a wonderful time celebrating my friend’s birthday whilst doing a wheel throwing tester class.
The instructor was knowledgeable and informative.
I would come again to do this experience again.”
“Camilla is very sweet. Great tutorial on how she creates and it was a lovely group to learn with.
An enjoyable time and value for money. Create a fun bright piece of art to enjoy.”
“Neve was lovely. Obviously knowledgeable and talented, and very personable and bubbly!
My only critique is that the lessons move too quickly. There's not quite enough time to grasp things before moving on. I think a longer lesson, even if it was a higher price, would be better!”
“We had a turkish lamp making class today. The teacher was very good. She calmly explained what to do and was constantly around to help or for questions. We felt very nice about that. However two things were disappointing, the tea/coffee facility was very low standard. Then the other thing was the quality of the coloured chips/tiles, this was also not great. These are very imprecisely cut I am aware. I have done a class before and I know that these chips always vary in shapes and size but many were bumpy, not cut properly or broken. We paid $119 per person and we know how much the chips and the lamp costs so it was quite a bit of money to get good chips or atleast good tea/coffee. But other than this our experience with the teacher was very nice. Very pleasant.”
“We really enjoyed our Italian Food Tour of Five Dock. There was plenty of yummy food from visits to an authentic Italian butcher, deli and pasticceria. Justin was a great host and we learned interesting facts about the area’s history. Would recommend!”
“My friend and I enjoyed our clay and sip class. There were just a couple of things we wish had been a little clearer.
We wish we had known we had to bring our own wine, we thought it was supplied as part of the class cost, as it was advertised as a clay and sip class.
And the hostess was helpful when we needed but she could slow down during the introduction and instructions at the beginning.
My friend couldn’t understand most of what she said, because it was rushed through.
Otherwise we enjoyed the rest of the class.”
“It was fairly easy to organise a gift voucher, although I did order 2 as multiple vouchers was an option, but only 1 was issued so will now have to go back and repeat the process”
“It was easy to make a booking and to make payment. The effectiveness of the experience is dependent on how responsive the teachers/provider of the service are, which I had mixed experience with. Also the locations committed to in the booking should be validated by Class Bento so that once locked in and paid for, the provider cannot change this offering - or make it stated cleared up front that the location needs to be agreed.”
