“I’ve had a terrible experience using Coinbase. First, they charge high fees both when transferring money from your bank to Coinbase and when withdrawing it—fees that add up quickly. On top of that, the platform doesn’t allow you to place a limit order using the full available balance, which makes no sense. Even worse, they have full control over your own money. I couldn’t even transfer the amount I wanted—the maximum allowed was just $350, which is insane. This kind of restriction is unacceptable for a platform that handles your funds. The spread is also outrageous. When buying or selling, you’re never getting the real market price. Coinbase takes a huge cut through the spread, so you’re already in the negative the moment you make a trade. It’s almost impossible to come out ahead.Plus very high fee to buy or sell ($30) every single time. I’ve used other brokerages and exchanges before, and this is by far the worst. I strongly do not recommend Coinbase to anyone serious about crypto investing.”

However, I was taken aback by them because they offered me realistic expectations, didn't demand payment up front, and I started seeing effects a few weeks later.
