“I had the pleasure of visiting this store in Crested Butte, and I felt in love with the soap and all their products. The store smells amazing! My favorite product is the Chill Lotion Bar, the best product I had found for my cracked heels, and my dry feet. I rub it on my feet every night, and now I do not have any more cracked heels, thank you so much. And it smells delicious!! Thank you for great products.”

“Everyone in store is absolutely a joy to chat with, these people know their soap products well. I keep the house in CB stocked with their soap, I bring soap back to my home state and order more online as needed. I used to have a itchy scalp and dry skin until the owner convinced me to buy her products, I now use Colorado Real Soap and have no further skin issues. Absolutely wonderful!!”

“My daughter and I stumbled upon this shop in 2019. We purchased a few bars of soap. We live outside of Houston. Not only have we continued to purchase the amazing soap bars, but the lip balms are amazing, and no lie - the bug ban is PHENOMENAL for the mosquitoes here!! Lifelong customer here!!”

“I'm so impressed with Colorado Real Soap! I needed to get a birthday gift for my mom and I wasn't sure what to get her, but I knew she loves artisan soaps. The product arrived quickly - even wrapped with a card! My mom is going to love the soap and face mask, and I really appreciate that Colorado Real Soap takes such care with their packaging. It's clear they truly care about their customers and their products. I now ordered some goodies for myself and cannot wait for their arrival!”

“My stepmom let me try All Over Butter Cream, when I was visiting last week. It was amazing and made my leather-like hands 🙌🏽 soft. I had to get some for myself. I love that the products are natural and work so quickly. I feel so much better all over. I’m going order some more products! Colorado Real Soap Company just gained a customer for life. “VAL received my package of goodies just now. from the mailbox to the house i kept thinking that perhaps the mail person wouldn't want to let it go. it smelled DIVINE even through the packaging. AND I add your packaging is always great; never had a broken product yet. what a treasure you are making all these wonderful things. “My Grandson and I were in Crested Butte early January, 2022. My grandson spotted Val's store and the rest is history. I absolutely love her natural products! Before leaving her shop, I purchased the Honey Butter Face Polish, Olive Oil Bar Soap, Infused Medicinal Honey Mask + Cleanser with Manuka, Rain Drops Cream for Faces: Natural Moisture Factor + Hyaluronic Acid Multiplex. Plus, Valerie's Citrus Bliss Fusion Hair + Body Wash and Shampoo and Citrus Bliss Fusion Cream Rinse Hair Conditioner. I am in love with every one of these products. I have very dry skin so finding natural products that keep my skin and hair moisturized, soft and feeling good is not always easy. The natural ingredients that Valerie searches for and uses in her products are amazing. My 16 year old grandson has oily skin and natural curly hair. He is also very picky about what products he uses on his face and hair. He, too, loves Valerie's Honey Butter Face Polish, Olive Oil Bar Soap, Shampoo and Cream Rinse. I HIGHLY recommend her products to everyone. I am so glad my grandson found your shop and we had the pleasure in meeting you. You are a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. Thank you Valerie for sharing your products with us all. My order is on the way and I look forward to seeing you the next time we come to Crested Butte.”

“I am in love with your products! I used the shampoo and conditioning cream rinse and my hair has never felt softer. My hair has a lovely shine and no residue. I put a little cream rinse in my hair because it is curly - after I’m out of the shower- and allow it to air dry - it looks great with no frizziness or greasiness. I used the all over lotion and it soaks into my skin right away and leaves it feeling great with no chemical residue. It just leaves it feeling like my skin but better. I used the dew drops moisturizer and the rose serum with CO q 10 and my face feels great. It is moisturized and healthy looking without being greasy or oily. All the products just seem to melt into my skin. Val was on the spot with communication and wrote a beautiful personalized thank you in the shipment I received. She also included a sample of her beautiful olive oil bar soap. It lathers like crazy and smells terrific. I will be ordering bar soap and more shampoo and conditioner immediately! I’m going to share my experience with friends and family. It’s so nice to find products that are actually “natural” and someone who cares personally about her products. Thank you so much Val!”

“OK. I am a dedicated fan of Valerie’s Killer Dish Soap because IT WORKS and it smells stunningly wonderful. I use it daily with joy. But every 5 years or so, because it is such an awful job and neither of us want to do it, one of us scrubs the 25’ of cabinet tops in our loft. High ceilings, a train track several yards away from our usually open sliding door, plus an older gas stove/stove hood thrown in, makes for a thick furry layer of dust in a disgusting greasy mess. This time I made Bob Villa’s degrease solution of vinegar, water, baking soda and 1/8 t Castille soap. It sorta worked. In a flash of brilliance I added 1/8 t of Valerie’s Killer Dish Soap and he started to get real results without so much blood, sweat and tears. But still there was a stubborn film that would not budge. I decided to sacrifice my back up bottle of Val’s soap…but what??? He used just a small amount and a stiff scrub brush and I heard a triumphant shout “Hallelujah!” He’d squirted on a small line and In a couple of minutes, a swipe of a paper towel left a clean smooth white surface! Hallelujah indeed. Using hardly an of my soap stash, he soon had the whole expanse gleaming without the normal trauma. And he volunteered to do it every 6 months if he can use Val’s soap! Here’s some pics -including the first new stove I have ever owned in our 47 years of marriage – the arrival of which prompted this massive cleaning project! The pics show the surface just using Bob Villa's cleaner boosted with 1/8 t Val's soap and the clean side is after using a small amount full strength Killer Dish Soap!!! Thank you, Val, for such an awesome, Shark-Tank-worthy, natural product that has left my loft oh-so-clean and smelling divine! Susie Anderson, Santa Barbara, CA”

“My aunt lives in Crested Butte and mailed me a little package of all her “favorites”. I absolutely love natural products that not only work, but have an incredibly sustainability quality to them. The soaps are DIVINE, and the added bonus of being able to use the bag it comes in as a soap saver is genius. I love how you can feel the intention and effort in every single product. Can’t recommend this enough to anyone and everyone I know.”

“I found Val's products in a Bed and Breakfast in Canyon City several years ago and was hooked. I reached out and asked about the products and have been using them ever since. As a nurse and and Holistic Nutritionist, it is so wonderful to finally find products that are superbly made that don't overload the body with toxic synthetic ingredients, that truly work, smell wonderful, and make the skin feel like no other. I highly recommend her products. I order regularly and everytime I use them around someone else, they always love the smells, and feel of the lotions. “I LOVE Valerie's Hydrosol Toner. Is perks up my skin and prepares it for moisturizing. The rose scent is perfectly soft and subtle. My husband often says "Hmmm, you smell so good!" and I know it is her toner. Highly recommend it! She is a real, caring person with unique and ethical products. In other words, a treasure.”
