“I call these amazing products "Valerie's Invaluables." Finally—a whole shop for sensitive skin!! What a revelation! 'Cause don't we all really have sensitive skin? We're certainly sensitive to the results! What a difference a knowledgeable formulator makes, wow. These products are exceptional. My skin noticed right away. And after spending the better part of a week the week before with red skin and hives (!) after using the product from the last company I tried, I am sooo relieved. It's so hard to know who to trust these days. But Valerie is also exceptional. (And a sweetheart!) I am so happy to have found her trustworthy brand of natural formulations. (And her encyclopedic website that explains _everything_ she uses.) A safe haven in the health-and-beauty-product world in this time of anything goes. (Truly heaven sent for someone not in favor of hives!) Valerie's creations are unique and exceptional, and it's a true pleasure shopping at her one-of-a-kind shop. (Did I mention exceptional…?) Thanks, Valerie! This is so great what you do… and the great way you do it! Appreciate it!! PS/Btw… I also appreciate that Colorado Real Soap Co. is woman-founded, woman-owned and operated, woman-consulted, and woman-staffed…! A small, independent, locally based, woman-run business with all-natural, handcrafted, small-batch, certified-organic products (via Ecocert!) that actually work?! “Wow, this is such a great shop. I found it serendipitously a few months ago, and have been truly delighted with everything I've tried. And excited to try more! The shop owner Valerie has founded a business where she really gets all of the aspects right. And there are a lot of aspects to a business like this! Her products are fantastic, her customer service is so thoughtful, and personalized, and her ethos is all about health, nature, and positive experience. It's just a pleasure to come here, and then to look forward to all of the wonderful creations soon to be heading to your door. I also have to add that I don't think I fully appreciated what a difference in quality a small-batch shop makes. Her products are sooo fresh! And handcrafted. She's making them in, like, nano batches! That's really not something easy to find these mass-produced days. So, you're safe from invisible microbial growth, of course, but you're also getting much fresher/more potent versions of each of the lovely ingredients she's put together. It's a meaningful difference. Most of the products I've bought from other companies don't give me any of the who/where/why/when details—sometimes even just the ingredients list is a chore to find. And no one if offering anything near the thoughtful explanations she's compiled on this encyclopedia of a website. When you see Valerie's handwritten dates on the label, you realize immediately that this is a product that's been made with care. I think "care" is the keyword here. You can feel her caring in everything she does. This is not some faceless seller or anonymous manufacturing company. And that really makes all the difference. So glad I found this wonderful shop!”

“Oh my gosh we were visiting CB and wanted to buy gifts for our granddaughters and Valerie helped me pick out very individual gifts plus some for our neighbors and myself as well. Then we went to dinner and thought we lost our bag containing the gifts and when I contacted her she offered to open early so we could replace them. Just a wonderful quality business and a great woman. I’ll be ordering from the website in the future. So grateful we walked up those stairs to her shop.”

“Val is amazing, providing over the top customer service. Returns??? Why would you want to return any of her amazing products?! If something doesn't work correctly, like a pump, she sends you another bottle of the product. Every product I have tried is gentle, effective and smells wonderful. Check out her blog posts; I guarantee you'll learn something!”

“I bought 3 large soaps and a beard/skin oil. The soaps turn an ordinary shower into an extraordinary self care pampering! The beard/skin oil is equally special! “I’m from Iowa. We have been going to CO. for yrs., but we never have been to Crested Butle, CO. What a BEAUTIFUL place. I’m know we will be back for sure. I decided to go upstairs to REAL SOAP. I bought the Olive Oil, soap. I LOVE IT…It has a peppermint smell. It makes my skin so soft & refreshing. The owner (Val), was amazing. We talked & laughed, like we were best friends. I will definitely be visiting again & ordering. Thank you, Val, & keep making great products.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting this store in Crested Butte, and I felt in love with the soap and all their products. The store smells amazing! My favorite product is the Chill Lotion Bar, the best product I had found for my cracked heels, and my dry feet. I rub it on my feet every night, and now I do not have any more cracked heels, thank you so much. And it smells delicious!! Thank you for great products.”

“Everyone in store is absolutely a joy to chat with, these people know their soap products well. I keep the house in CB stocked with their soap, I bring soap back to my home state and order more online as needed. I used to have a itchy scalp and dry skin until the owner convinced me to buy her products, I now use Colorado Real Soap and have no further skin issues. Absolutely wonderful!!”

“My daughter and I stumbled upon this shop in 2019. We purchased a few bars of soap. We live outside of Houston. Not only have we continued to purchase the amazing soap bars, but the lip balms are amazing, and no lie - the bug ban is PHENOMENAL for the mosquitoes here!! Lifelong customer here!!”

“I'm so impressed with Colorado Real Soap! I needed to get a birthday gift for my mom and I wasn't sure what to get her, but I knew she loves artisan soaps. The product arrived quickly - even wrapped with a card! My mom is going to love the soap and face mask, and I really appreciate that Colorado Real Soap takes such care with their packaging. It's clear they truly care about their customers and their products. I now ordered some goodies for myself and cannot wait for their arrival!”
