“It's been less than a week that I signed my daughter up. She's really thrilled about the program. More importantly when she got her first certificate. This is a very brilliant way of getting students interested in maths, well done to all the people involved with putting this together.”

“It is very good that when a topic is not fully understood the video can be watched again. Furthermore there are plenty of questions for testing and revision of the topic.”

“As a parent who values education, I was naturally concerned when my sons maths teacher (at a private school) approached me one afternoon and informed me that my son was struggling in class. According to the teacher, my son was struggling to such an extent that the school was considering moving him down one academic year. As I struggled with mathematics myself, I decided to hire a maths tutor but was shocked to find how much a qualified maths tutor charged, £15-£25 an hour! This was more than I could afford and so I began discussing the prospect of redoing the school year with my son; as expected, he was not happy. I stumbled across conquer maths by chance and enrolled with little hope and few expectations as the subscription price was very cheap. My initial thoughts were very mistaken.. Within one lesson, my son began confidently and correctly answering questions that previously he had no knowledge on. His understanding of maths has greatly improved, his confidence has returned and he is unbelievably enthusiastic about maths. I highly recommend conquer maths for any parent, home educator or teacher who is responsible for teaching children maths. The website is extremely easy to navigate and my son who is 9 (and daughter who is 7) uses the website independently. The lessons are short, clear and concise and methods of calculating are explained in an easy to understand way. After the explanation and examples, there are questions for the child/ren to answer. Reports on children's progress are emailed to the parent/teacher and certificates (bronze, silver, gold or platinum) sent upon completion of each subject- these can be printed at home for future refrence as well as to encourage children and give them incentives to study. Overall I am extremely pleased with my decision to subscribe to conquer maths and highly recommend it.”

“I used to be a maths teacher but my current job doesn't allow me the time to teach my 10 year old. He is capable at maths but the school is not stretching him. He used to cry because his homework was too easy. Now he is very happy because he can choose whatever topic he likes and it doesn't matter how bad the school are at teaching him. He is now making good progress and I have no doubt that this site will continue to be very beneficial to him for many years. I am now adding my 5 year old. Only regret is that I didn't think of it!”

“We love this site, we are a family that home school and have found this site really useful in helping us as parents to teach maths but also the kids enjoy maths to. We love the examples at the start we find this helpful in helping the kids learn how to work out the answers.”

“An excellent resource to support my childrens education. Both my boys have dyslexia and require additional practice to retain maths concepts, we've tried numbershark which was hard to navigate. However, this programme is very compensive and the children are able to work independantly watching the tutorial and then working through the lesson. A much cheaper alternative to private tuition and the boys are able to work at their own pace.”

“Very well structured in to short informative modules. The visual element provides a much needed different approach compared to the average classroom. Being able to visually see the progress as each module is completed has given my daughters a lot of confidence. Would recommend giving it a go!”

“My 4 and 6yr old have recently signed up, they both love it - its clear and calm explanation and reinforced questions have helped them understand complex topics speedily and enjoyably. The certificates after each topic are a brilliant way of spurring them on to the highest level of Platinum. Money very well spent!”

“We're extremely pleased with the maths tuition at Conquer Maths. Easy to understand tutorials. Tutor explains things so well that he makes anything understandable by his easy going, relaxed, clear approach. Can go back to each section at a later time if you don't finish them in one go which suits my daughter's ability to concentrate for short periods at present due to illness. Subjects broken down into nice short pieces. Makes maths so much more understandable. My daughter found the way of putting the answers in a bit time consuming at first but once she got the hang of it it's fine. We're very happy to continue with our subscription. “This is a clear, concise maths programme that allows your child to work through a topic on their own and then do some questions to see how much they have understood. The lessons are 'taught' on screen in a break down of simple steps - even those of us who dont 'get' maths can understand using these lessons - each step is clear and follows easily from the last. It helps understanding and knowledge of an entire concept not just a method. This is important as it helps to underpin mathematical knowledge as your child progresses. Each set of questions is graded and your child can earn certificates - this is quite an incentive for most children to have a visible demonstration of progress. Another benefit of this programme is the ability to stop and start, rewind etc this allows you to go back over something when you need to. I have 2 children using the programme - one in KS2 and one about to take GCSEs - we bought the CDs a couple of years back. This is an excellent programme as a stand-alone for home educators and as a supplement for those in school - in fact for those in school it is often a life-saver helping to explain those topics which have always been a bit murky! In my experience conquermaths is money well spent.”
