“Purchased a Hotpoint 8kg Freestanding Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - White in September 2023, have had nothing but trouble with lights flashing and eventually machine stopped working. Seller said contact Hotpoint direct which I did. The engineer came and looked at the machine and exchanged a part, he told me that when he opened the Tumble Dryer there was evidence of chewed wiring by vermin (but he said there were no dropping so the chewed wiring must have been caused where the tumble dryer had been stored before being delivered to myself). The engineer said due to the vermin chewing the wiring inside the machine there was a possibility that the Tumble Dryer may suffer faults in the future. I advised Crampton and Moore of this and they basically said its not their fault and I needed a letter saying the dryer was irreparable, to supply a machine in this condition and to not help the customer is in my opinion disgusting, even Amazon, were no help as it was sold and dispatched by seller.”

Purchased Delonghi coffee maker via Tesco Direct, this item was supplied from Crampton and Moore. Coffee maker has now failed approx. 10 months after purchase, contacted Customer services but immediately referred to manufacturer, quite wrongly, my contract was with Crampton & Moore and they are legally responsible to sort issues, instead tried oldest trick in the book and passed the buck to the manufacturer, poor customer service, still awaiting resolution on this issue, have pointed out my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, awaiting resonse. Buyer beware!”
