“My hard drive stopped working when I accidentally used the wrong PSU sata cable. A quick Google search I found the Data Recovery Specialists, drive was collected by courier and was kept informed of the progress along the way. I got all my data recovered. Very professional - I would highly recommend them. 10/10”

“I had the unfortunate event of a USB External Hard Drive not being recognised in Windows 10 File Explorer, the drive was full of family photos. I was wary and rang around several companies and I choose this company based upon the no obligation quote. 100% of my data was recovered and my data was shipped back on a 10TB Hard Drive within 10 days, excellent service. They kept me up to date with the process, and provided a fast, efficient service and a friendly single contact person throughout. I would recommend the company if you have a broken hard drive.”

“I lost my data on an old Windows 7 laptop. Sent the hard drive off to datarecoveryspecialists and the managed to get back 95% of my data. It may not be cheap, but you can't but a price on memories. 100% would recommend them. Daniel Rees was a great contact too.”

“Great communications, swift service, and good results. Any complaints of them being overpriced are obviously from people who do not appreciate their depth of knowledge and skill. The costs of their data recovery tools and training would make your eyes water. Their prices are more than justified.”

“You know that sinking feeling when you realise your hard drive has decided to give up, and hindsight shouts that you should have backed up everything on to a couple of additional drives? Well that happened to me. A quick Google search found the Data Recovery Specialists, and they were first class all the way. My duff drive was collected by courier, I was informed all through the process regarding what would happen next, reassured that all my precious files could be recovered and then within a short space of time had everything returned safely by courier on a replacement drive. I could have had the files back sooner, but I was away on holiday. Data Recovery Specialists ensured that the drive arrived on the day that I returned to the office. I can't fault any of it. A friendly, efficient service.”

“Came to this company after another had failed (pretty poorly) for a second opinion. They were able to retrieve all my data back on the first time of asking and very quickly. A little more expensive than others but ultimately met the goal! I had to ask them to check for some encrypted files after the first sweep for data which they gladly did and recovered. Glad I asked, rather than take the first results/scan at face value.”

“Found out about DRS from a friend and my damaged HDD was sent to them for data recovery. I am glad to say that they were about to extract all my data from the drive and return to me on a 256Gb USB within a very short space of time. Expensive but worth it. When phoned about the work, the staff were very helpful.”

“We found DRS through a google search and were extremely pleased that there was a reliable company out there that was confident that it could retrieve data from a damaged hard drive. It has literally saved our bacon!! We waited patiently for information, and the early signs were that at least 95 per cent of the data could be retrieved within 4 – 5 days. We paid the fee expecting delivery as indicated. However, from then on communication from DRS was poor. In the absence of news of any progress from them in the following weeks it was left to me to phone them. Our assigned agent was always unavailable and failed to call back although we had been given assurances that he would do so. A delivery of some of the data was provided electronically after two week, but the fully recovered data was only finally delivery after six weeks and then only after persistent enquiry. Although we are of course very grateful that the data was fully recovered we feel that their customer liaison could be improved.”
